Very cool!
So this is where George Washington‘s bathtub sits. It’s funny how it’s just out in the middle of nowhere, but I guess that’s how things were back in the day.
I was so excited to visit Berkeley Springs with my family. We were within walking distance of Berkeley Springs State Park . Everything in this area is really nice. The museum, Gentleman‘s Spring and Bathhouse, the healing waters and especially the bath. I made sure to step down into it. Be sure to be careful as the stone the bottom is a little off kilter so hold on when stepping in. It was really neat to say that I had stood in this. A definite memory!
Good for kids and not too crowded. We took a loop around to check everything out. Highly recommend!

Interesting assortment of people, including 8 smiley Buddhist monks in saffron robes, leisurely partaking of all the amenities. That alone was...

I kind of wonder if we could get a modern sitting President to partake in a bath there, but it would likely need to be expanded ;) Fortunately the area and town is awesome and parking was minimal, so if you're there you should swing by for a piece of history, but if you are thinking about making a whole trip for the bathtub - you'd be disappointed. Make a day of the...
