I went to this store because they have a better selection of women's clothing than the one in Huber Heights. And they can have good deals on clearance rack items. However, the problem that I had was with the deceptive clearance rack items. I purchased a pair of North Face shorts that had been marked down; however the sales clerk rang them up at full price. I didn't realize it until the credit card had processed. I was informed I would have to go downstairs and get a refund in order to get a price adjustment. I ended up returning the shorts completely and left.
Also, be aware of the prices on the clearance racks. Today, a 40% off the lowest price sign was up; but only for certain colored tags. The North Face, Patagonia, Columbia items were not part of this deal. This needs to be made clearer. It's very confusing for the customer to see a great deal, only for it to be for certain items with a certain tag color.
In addition, returns should be available upstairs as well as downstairs. The supervisor that informed me I would have to go downstairs was unhelpful and unapologetic. Granted, I don't know what I expected when kids are in charge of this place.
It just seems like retail America has just given up. Store managers do not train sales associates properly anymore; and there is a stagnant aura of apathy all over the place.
Ladies, if you are looking for good deals on the brands that Dick's Sporting Goods carries, look online; especially at used gear. There are some great deals to be had without the hassle of shopping at a brick and...
Read moreI’m between 2 stars or 3 stars. It’s honestly nothing special. I recommend going during the day because the staff seems more lively and willing to help if you ask them. But at night it’s almost dead! Staff is normally all huddled up in the front talking to the opposite gender.
But I went today to return an ankle brace and to get a new one, the old brace was $37.34 and the new brace was $42.69. The lady who proceeded my return was nice and I went to get my new brace and pay for it. I got home and on the back of my old receipt was a 15% off coupon vailed for 3 hours! Which would of made my new brace cheaper then my old one. I am so aggravated that I had this coupon and the associate Debra didn’t even bother telling me I had it when she was the one who returned my brace AND checked me out for the new brace!! Completely...
Read moreI have been here 4 times in the past 2 months attempting to buy soccer shoes, a bike, and weights. We waited 45 minutes for the one associate to even say something to us. At this point I was done because I have smaller children. I am willing to spend over $500 based on everything I need. All associates I have ever dealt with act like they hate their job. It wasn't until I said something walking past this young, maybe 20-year-old guy that he came up and asked if I needed anything. All I wanted was for my son to try on different shoes. Terrible customer service. I am no longer attempting to shop here. I loved this store years ago. Then when I found someone to talk to in the bike area, the associate didn't know anything about bikes. I am honestly surprised that this is even open based on the terrible customer...
