Worst experience at A&F I have ever had. The girls “working” were huddled together around the register, until customers started coming up. Then they all ran to the back and left one girl by herself. Eventually another came out, but every one of them seemed upset to be there. I was trying to return some items that were past the 30 day return policy, which I was just wanting store credit for. I had my receipt, tags attached, nothing worn, purchased full price, and pulled it up on my app as well. Leslie was the girl who helped me and she had major attitude with me saying that only VIP members could return past 30 days. I asked her how I become a VIP member, and she stated that I needed to spend $500. I showed her my receipt again to show her that just that transaction alone was over $500, purchased online, logged into my account. She said she’d check my status again and then said “um, I will be right back”. Then went into the back, leaving no one at the register, and returned with a pose of employees to tell me that they could not offer any sort of return on any of the items (which was only 3 of 8 items I purchased on this transaction). I was obviously disappointed that I couldn’t return/exchange anything, but I was not aggressive or rude, even when Leslie was rude to me. I started to feel extremely threatened by the group of girls (employees) starting to form, and do not recommend anyone go to that store alone. I’m very bummed because I have found Abercrombie to have great quality from all of our online purchases, but I unfortunately will no longer shop there or support their sister brands/stores. The “Manager” that was there was named Joplin and she was present during the end part of my experience, but all she did to “help” was point to the return policy sign on the counter. I really hope she’s not actually a manager, however it would explain the rest of the employees behavior if she’s leading them (or falsely representing). I love A&F products, for myself and for my kids, but we will unfortunately be parting ways with this brand after the in person experience I had today. If you also love A&F, don’t ruin it by going to their location...
Read moreI have a source who works at this location and here are some things you need to know about this location The managers are not experienced at all, some of the assistant managers got hired despite having little experience because the upper management felt like they can be easily told what to do The store manager is micromanaging and evil. She talks to associates like they are little children through the walkie talkie and she made some people quit. She is rude and disrespectful to the associates and customers. There was an incident when an employee had a miscommunication with a customer and instead of defending the employee, she cuts this person’ shift and talked bad about this person. She also threatened other associates with write ups if things doesn’t go her way. 3 The general manager is lazy and calculated. She does not do a single work and all she does is just watch tik tok and hulu in the back. She does little to no work every shift and does not defend her own associates when the store manager was being super disrespectful to the associates. The associates are really rude and super cliquish. These high school children are only working here because the pay is relatively higher compared to other retail store and the discount is good. However, i don’t think it’s worth the mental suffering. So I advise to think twice before deciding to work here. Lastly, the store is super dirty, messy and the line in the fitting room is long. The customer would wait more than 30 mins to just get helped on the register because the store manager wanted us to “multitask”. So much for making customer number one priority.
I have visited this store in the past a few times and it is so messy and I could not find what I am looking for. I think that they are getting a little bit better in terms of the cleanliness but the people are still rude. I would think twice before coming to this location and consider visiting the Tukwilla store, it is so much neater and the people...
Read moreExtremely rude and unprofessional staff. Store made a mistake by listing the wrong items under clearance. There were 2 managers on site this evening, and when I tried to get the name of 1 of them, to report her behavior, she told us that 'she didn't have to give it to us if she didn't want to'. Isabella on the other hand, was the other manager on site, and she was an absolute sweetheart. Julian, a regular employee, was customer service at its finest. He was so helpful and just really kind about the mistake. Everyone else was absolutely horrifying. Doesn't cost anything to treat a customer with respect and kindness. The rest of the staff are just talking behind you, rolling eyes, chuckling, making faces. Doesn't feel good at all. They could care less about the customer service experience. Seems like they're doing their best to make sure their customers DON'T come back. Mistakes are okay and understandable, but when you give the customer attitude for something that wasn't their fault, you have another thing coming to you. I don't understand how people like that, get put in a position of leadership like that, when they can't even handle basic customer care. Wish she had given me her name to help other customers steer clear of her horrible attitude. All I can say is she worked the evening shift on a Monday. Asain girl, black hair, short, skinny, with tattoos on her back/hip. Rude as hell. Hate to describe people, but I dont...
