I've been working with Linda on a 2,800-square-foot interior remodel; and for myself, it has been an absolute game-changer. As a residential real estate agent and investor who also flips homes in the $1.2–$1.5 million range, I have a very discerning eye when it comes to the look and feel of a home. Linda has exceeded my expectations every step of the way.
From the start, she has been everything you’d want in a designer—punctual, attentive, and refreshingly honest. What truly sets her apart is her ability to handle my occasional unrealistic expectations and take my vision and elevate it with her designer expertise. Her concepts and material recommendations have been spot-on, aligning perfectly with the high standards I would expect from a designer of her caliber.
So far, Linda’s communication has been just as impressive. Anytime I’ve had a question, she’s responded quickly and has taken the time to explain the pros and cons of my choices—even educating me on the maintenance involved. For example, I didn’t know there’s a specific wand for cleaning crystal chandeliers until Linda shared that tip. In my opinion, it’s those little details that make her a standout in her field.
If you’re looking for a designer who can guide, lead, and execute at a professional level while understanding the importance of both style and practicality, I would reach out to Linda...
Read moreI affectionately call this the "statement piece" store as they have many super expensive and interesting statement pieces--I don't think many of the items go together all that well but on their own you can have something really striking to create a focal point of interest (good design). Otherwise there's a lot of visual noise that gets lost and you don't even notice certain items in the store (bad design). Great place to go get ideas.
Reason for 3 stars? Their pricing is just bad. You can find ANYTHING they sell cheaper elsewhere, often at substantial discounts, no matter how unique the piece seems. They do NOT price match on accessories--decor or paintings included--nor do they offer any discount for in-store items which blows my mind since these are open-box display items that have been handled and touched by others and are far from new. Any other store will sell their display items for a discount (10-25% off, including the neighboring Thomasville Interiors). I also know how much Schoener is paying for wholesale prices on their pieces so to know they can't even take some money off to make a sale (and still make plenty of profit) is just bad business.
Schoener "sales" prices are only select price tags where the items are obscenely expensive so even after half-off they're still...
Read moreSTANK! That is how i would describe my experience here. Imagine the scene: there I was waltzing into the store, excited as ever as I was on my way to purchase TRINKETS! Accompanying me was my sixth old brother (refer to fig.1). We were having the time of our lives, prancing and dancing whilst sniffing out TRINKETS! However the foul looking saleswomen confronted us and made it clear that me and my sixth old brother was not welcomed here! SO RUDE! My sixth old brother, already sensitive from a recent heartbreak, busted into TEARS! I informed the foul looking saleswomen that we were merely here to buy TRINKETS! Oh how I regret that confrontation... for she did a little dance and a foul smelling odor met my senses. Oh how I pity the janitor who had to clean up the scene. The rancid stench was nothing of this world. To this day, I still wonder what it was that fueled that wretched stank. Me and my sixth old brother zoomed out of there, forsaking the TRINKETS!, only merely making it out with our...
