The experience started as soon as we walked in. Concierge met us at the door and carried our belongings while showing us to the room we were in (I wish we remembered his name). Once there, Judah, the AV tech for our room was waiting and took his time walking us through the equipment, lights and audio. Gave us his personal number to call if we needed anything. When we did call throughout the day it was only a matter of minutes before our needs were met. Chris with food/catering and her staff were very helpful and attentive. They confirmed times and layouts when everything was supposed to come out and down to the smallest details to make sure they were not interrupting our event while cleaning tables. The food itself was great, everyone was very satisfied with the options and taste. The parts of the building that we saw (front door and 4th floor) were clean, smelled nice and decorated thoughtfully. The subtle changes in carpet colors all the way up to the lighting fixtures made everything feel so comfortable. The bathrooms near our event were very clean as well. Meydenbauer Bay Park is honestly one of my absolute favorite parks in the entire East Side of Washington. The lakefront views are simply stunning, framed by gorgeous multi-million dollar homes that add to the serene, upscale feel of the area. It’s a family-friendly haven, often filled with friendly ducks, children playing, and people enjoying the water.

Whether you’re into paddle boarding, boating, swimming, or just relaxing by the water, the park offers a wide range of activities—complete with clean shower and bathing facilities that make it incredibly convenient. I’ve often imagined hosting a wedding or special event here because the setting is just that beautiful, though I’m not sure if it’s officially allowed.
