My family has received harassing phone calls about how “Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem look like the KKK.” My support ticket list has that message plastered all over it. My reputation has been destroyed by this reckless company. The Pokémon Company ignored my concerns and seemed to think it was okay for my account to have these awful messages containing the highly offensive group permanently on my support ticket history. Even if you are not signed in, support tickets can be made under your account if someone has your email. I recall buying plush toys of Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, White Kyurem, and Black Kyurem from their website before I had law enforcement threaten my family, claiming we were going to be charged with a crime in 2023. In 2024, my family almost got severely injured or killed because armed officers raced up my driveway over Pokémon. I stopped interacting with Pokémon way before this happened. After my experience, I do not feel safe dealing with this company. I can see why this company is out for blood when looking into the context of the designs of the Unova Dragons. They do not want anyone to see people complaining about it, so they go out and silence their critics. If they had any common sense, they would change the designs of those characters instead of recklessly attacking their own customers. Support doesn’t answer my concerns, and I live in fear of my family getting hurt by this reckless company. This company has made my life miserable, and they do not care. Money matters most to them. I have no remorse for boycotting The Pokémon Company. The damage they caused to my family is irreversible. No apology had been made. They continue to pump out products and do not care about...
Read moreEpitome of Corporate Greed – A Disappointing Experience with Pokémon Mega Evolutions Booster Case
As a lifelong Pokémon fan and collector, it pains me to write this — but I feel compelled to speak up after an incredibly frustrating experience.
Recently, I purchased an entire case of the much-hyped Mega Evolutions booster set (216 packs in total). As any collector would, I was excited to dive into this new release. But that excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Every single pack in the case contains cards that are badly off-center — a printing defect that significantly impacts both the aesthetic and value of the cards.
Naturally, I reached out to Pokémon Support (Case #3428082), hoping they would stand behind the quality of their product. Unfortunately, I was met with the all-too-familiar corporate response: these defects fall within "acceptable standards." In other words, too bad — take it or leave it.
Let’s be clear: we’re talking about premium-priced collectibles here — not random cards from a dollar bin. For Pokémon to accept our money so readily for a printed product, and then refuse to acknowledge clear manufacturing flaws, is disappointing at best, and exploitative at worst.
Collectors deserve better. The community deserves better.
Pokémon has built a legacy on nostalgia, passion, and loyalty — but that loyalty isn’t a blank check. We expect quality. We expect accountability. And most importantly, we expect the company to care as much about the product as the people buying it do.
If you've had a similar experience, speak up. We’re not just customers — we’re the reason Pokémon has become what it is today.

Read moreThe Pokémon Company International has single-handedly destroyed the Pokémon TCG market and made it nearly impossible for legitimate businesses like mine to survive. I operate a Pokémon TCG store, and thanks to Pokémon’s complete incompetence, my customers are furious—not at scalpers, not at distributors, but at me because I can’t get product at a reasonable price. Pokémon has created a broken system where their terrible distribution methods and refusal to control scalpers have forced small businesses to either overpay for inventory or not stock it at all.
Meanwhile, big-box retailers get loaded up with supply, only for employees and scalpers to clear the shelves before real fans even get a chance. Pokémon’s failure to allocate product fairly has turned an entire fanbase against the very stores that have supported this game for years. My business has suffered because of their greed and mismanagement, and I’m not the only one. Countless game stores have been forced to either abandon Pokémon TCG entirely or shut down altogether.
On top of that, Pokémon has allowed pricing to spiral out of control. Increased MSRPs, poor print allocations, and the endless cycle of artificial scarcity have made collecting and playing the game a nightmare. They refuse to address these problems, leaving stores and customers alike to deal with the chaos.
Pokémon, you have failed your community, your retailers, and your fans. If you don’t fix this disaster soon, you won’t have a game...
