I brought my brother's laptop to this place based off of my friends recommendation that this place was amazing for any repairs to any laptops. I was not disappointed and felt that this place was very in tune with what any customer needs.
My brother's laptop had a weird funky problem. He had somehow shoved his A/C jack all the way in, thereby, dismounting the A/C jack internally, and therefore could not charge his laptop. The friendly folks at A Plus Computer Tech gave us a FREE QUOTE/ESTIMATE (standard), and told us exactly how much they would charge ahead of time, so that there were no surprises later on.
When I asked them further questions about the possibility of them ordering another charger for us, they gave us another estimated price range, so when we had our job completed, we knew exactly what we were getting and what we were paying for.
They know what they are doing and they are more than willing to help you every step of the way. At first I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to finish the job on time or that there would be further problems. NO. They banished my anxiety and kept me promptly updated through phone calls that made me feel as if they weren't just another 'computer factory' mindlessly repairing, etc.
BOTTOM LINE: These guys mean business and they do it with fantastic customer service. I would recommend this place to all of my friends who have a computer...
Read moreI recently visited this shop for assistance with my Mac. Unfortunately, my experience was absolutely horrible. In short, they not only were able to complete the repair, but also rob customer of their devices.
The staff claimed to have tried resolving the issue, and I confirmed with them the cost and time to fix it, but the outcome was not as expected. Additionally, I found their pricing to be unreasonably high for the service provided. Despite the lack of a solution, they insisted on retaining the full labor charge including parts. I tried to negotiate with them on price considering the attempt failed ask them if they can reverse it as didn’t work, but they just rejected it kept my laptop and telling me they gonna sell it online. Excuse me?!
I recommend potential customers to carefully consider their options before choosing A Plus Computer Tech as my experience suggests that their services is practically a scam, and issues will not get addressed.
I only found out later that they’ve already started to record all our conversations specifically to prepare for potential lawsuits I might bring upon them. Like they’ve expected this from the very beginning. So maybe their way of making money is not by providing repairing service, but by robbing customers of their device and...
Read moreI had a laptop that had some issues with charging as I had to hold the pin in place by hand for it to charge. Having recently moved to Bellevue, googled top repair places and came across A Plus. Went there. The guy looked at it and told me because of the backlog, it will take 2-3 days for initial diagnostic unless you pay $50 for expedited one. I refused to pay. Less than 24 hrs later, the backlog magically disappeared and got a call telling me it will be $227 plus tax because the charging port is broken and soldered to motherboard. So labor will be intense and 2.5 hrs long even though replacement part is cheap but will take a week to ship. Went back and picked up my laptop and took it to Dr.PC Fix in Redmond. The guy took my laptop and performed free diagnostics. Told me he needs to open the laptop to see the damage and assembly of the charging port so will get back to me the next day but if it requires replacement it will be $120 with three day turn around. Happy with the price and timeline, i jumped into the car and drove away. With in 2 hrs Dr PC Fix called and said there is no damage to the port and issue was with the charging cable. Buy new charger for $38 all in and laptop is good to go. That’s exactly what I did and its up...
