I came into the store to purchase an engagement ring. I already knew what I wanted so I walked in and met with one of their advisors who helped me find it and start the purchase process.
While I was waiting for her to return from cleaning the ring, I was approached by the security guard and the store manager who introduced himself and told me I needed to leave because I had my gun on my hip. I told him I was literally in the middle of purchasing a ring but he said I needed to leave.
Cool, no problem. I secure my gun in my car and come back and ask the advisor for the managers card as I didn’t like the way the situation was handled and literally getting kicked out of the store in the middle of a purchase.
At this point the security guard comes back over and asks if I would like some water? Now trying to actually provide customer service instead of just holding up the wall like when I walked in.
Then I come back a few weeks later to get my fiancés ring resized and the same guard is there. The entire time we’re in the store he’s walking around us and staring at us, to the point that my fiancé actually says something to me about it without me bringing it up. We were not the only people in the store.
All in all, not the best experience for going somewhere and spending thousands of dollars. It’s not that they don’t allow guns inside, I totally understand. But execution could’ve been a lot better by the management and security team. Maybe if their guards were actually paying attention when people walked in he could’ve said something to me at the door, not 15 minutes into my transaction and then to stare us down like we’ve done something wrong when I come back in? This is exactly why I buy most things online. I don’t have to drive an hour and a half to deal...
Read moreI've never had a bad experience at Tiffany & Co. until I visited the Bellevue store. I've been a customer for nearly 30 years and have a nice collection of jewelry that I've had cleaned and repaired by them over the years. I went to the store to look for a cross for my daughters baptism and an additional extender clasping link for my Return to Tiffany bracelet, the selection was ok but the saleswoman was awful so I did not make a purchase.
I was wearing three tiffany bracelets. I pointed out my oval tag bracelet which I purchased in college from the St Louis store with the clasping link which I purchased from Tiffany online to Haley Tsendeekhuu asking if I could get another link because my wrists are a bit bigger since having a baby. She proceeded to tell me that the extenders were fake and my bracelet might be as well because they don't sell these things. She told me she knew this because she has worked at Tiffany for 5 years. I was in shock that she behaved this way so I explained that I purchased these from Tiffany myself, I thanked her, asked for her card and left the store.
I don't think this is someone who should be working at Tiffany & Co. I've been to stores all over the country and never had this experience with any of the employees. The Return to Tiffany oval tag bracelet and clasping links are still available on their website so I'm not sure what this lady was...
Read moreWe had my engagement ring purchased at the Bellevue store, the sales are not professional as she promised us gifts but it never arrived, and she never returned texts after the purchase is closed. Apart from that, it took her days to find out the fluorescence detail on our diamond. The store manager and my sales did not provide a microscope diamond check even after we requested one and no professional knowledge and expertise were given in the process of purchasing. (we were invited to the private room at the Portland T&C store, the store manager and the greeting salesperson were passionate about the brand and brand story. They provided a lot of info on the diamond we purchased, and they are proud to work at T&C.)
Later, we had our first resizing done months after the purchase at the Bellevue store, the whole process is handled poorly. The customer service guy basically dumped our diamond ring on the placemat on the day of pick-up. It is an expensive ring. He has no gloves on and no detail given. His attitude was also pretty condescending. He might be the general store manager at the Bellevue store too. I have experience shopping in both Portland and Seattle Tiffany, they have way better customer service. Don't go to Bellevue tiffany. They are making the...
