Yumi Beauty - CLOSED — Local services in Bellevue

I found Elle Yumi on Groupon, which they don't accept because it's with her trainee and they take too much revenue from her. However, the services felt like she was a trainee herself. I paid hundreds of dollars to have my face be a playground for products. She didn't inquire about my the state of my skin, how it behaves, my problem areas or what I wanted to achieve.

Yes, her prices are below market rate which is what attracted me because I was looking for services I can maintain biweekly or monthly. I was happy to support a local women-owned business, however, her pricing speaks of the below market quality. I have facial experiences from medical grade to luxury spa alike and well-versed in my own skincare. I implore the the owner to take this opportunity to realize its potential by getting services from their competitors and see what they do and what they charges. Worse case scenario is they raise their prices only to continue their subpar services.

I was supposed to get an eyelash extension fill, but they charged me for a full set, even with over 50% of my original lashes intact. Lash placement in of itself was not great. The line of product they use for facials is Pro-Active... they have nice equipments to lather the products, but she did not create a good canvas on my skin for the product to absorb. The electric scrubber was out of battery so she use the scrubber to dab on products (?) The location is a closet in an office building, which only serves as a facade of professionalism. They are polite and have clean workspace.

As of the writing of this review, there's 52 reviews that are all 5 stars?? No 4's or 3's? You don't find that curious... It would be a disservice to other skincare enthusiasts to not speak up about my experience — I left feeling like they were about their money and not passionate...

THE BEST. PERIOD.

I’ve been searching for a good facial place with a decent price for so long, and I’m glad I found out about Yumi Beauty. As for me, my skincare journey has been challenging since I moved to the States. And I would not let any inexperienced spa touch my face. Yumi is very well trained, and she knows what she’s doing. She has high quality equipments to help with the procedure. My face felt very nice, clean, and refreshing after the session. I will update after couple sessions

Took my girlfriend for her eyelash extensions a couple days ago. As a super picky person, she is really happy with her lashes, which made me so happy 😀.

Highly recommend YUMI BEAUTY if you are looking to get lashes done. YUMI is your girl to go to, she is AMAZING at what she does and you will wake up with the prettiest set of lashes you...
