Stopped in today after a drive down from Loveland after spending a good 40 or so minutes doing my research about which new strains I wanted to try out. I use Cannabis in a spiritual context; meditation and self-inquiry, so I do a little more in-depth research than most consumers do and definitely more than any bud-tender I've ever worked with. I found three new strains (for me) that pointed to the effects I am always after, printed out my “first visit” coupon and hit the road to Berthoud!
Two of the the three strains were not on the shelves. The Weedmaps menu hadn’t been updated in about a week though the clerk who said she was responsible for updating it couldn’t tell me how often it was updated when I asked. She was on vacation “for the last week” and thus it wasn’t updated. I saw five employees in the recreation building and it sounds like none of them could have updated it either? She offered to let me sniff a few other Sativas but what does sniffing a strain tell you about its effects?! So I left with one strain, didn’t get to use my coupon and I won’t be back to use it. The bud-tender could tell I was disappointed and the rest of the transaction was short and sweet. I got the impression that she was quite put-off because I wasn’t all “hippy-dippy” and cool about the situation.
In the end I suppose I should have called ahead but I can honestly say that I have never experienced this as ANY shop here in Colorado or Oregon so I was really caught off-guard. Call ahead folks, do your research. Read the previous reviews and check out the dispensary across the street!
This was an hour ago and I will commend the shop on quickly updating...
Read moreUpdate: I was contacted by one of the owners. she seemed professional and sincere. She admitted to some bumps in the transition but promised they will remain focused on medical, will do their best to keep a good supply and that I was provided bad information on why they were short. I am using a different company now, but I feel her response at least warrants two stars. However, medical patients will still be required to wait in line with recreation and if they underestimate the amount they need on medical and run low, they will ask you to literally pay for their mistake by paying more at the recreation side. Original post: After 3.5 years, countless staff and several management changes, I will no longer use this facility. Recreation was recently added. I was told today that because of the amount they had on the recreation side, they couldn’t legally restock the medical side, but I was welcome to pay recreation prices for what I needed (with a 15% discount). This was something the manager promised me wouldn’t happen. I was told today he is no longer with the company. They do have 6 or seven strains on the medical side right now. Not saying it’s totally empty, but for regular medical consumers you understand what has happened here. I will miss N, R, and L very much. Thank you for helping me as much as you did. You three have...
Read moreI have a new client in town and was impressed with the medical side I saw online. I had a great experience as a first time visitor to the shop and the budtender was amazing. Nice selection of edibles for the medical patient.
However, I cannot give this facility the 5 star review it otherwise deserves due to the way I was treated, actually berated with a “can’t you read?” When I accidentally parked in the wrong place. I didn’t see it. As I was leaving a larger man with brown hair and beard, and hopefully not a professional representative of your facility, asked me if I worked there, no I do not. There was no sign in the space I was parked in but I did see the sign on spaces to the right when he rudely asked if I worked there and when I told it was my first time there he turned around and said maybe it should be your last.
What he doesn’t know is that I work in home health and had just left a clients house who were told they were dying. It was a super Difficult day. Instead of being a professional and asking me to not park there, this man child felt he needed to come outside and attempt to belittle me.
I would think a dispo in n Berthoud, CO would be a bit more conscientious of professionalism and trying to remember to be...
