Iâve lived in Bethesda for 24 years and, honestly I can say that Iâve only visited the market a handful of times. I wanted to buy something special and different to my 30 year old son who loves dressing up for work and dates (girls just love how gentlemanly he isđ). I thought âtiesâ. So I went to Neiman Marcus, Dior and Channel stores at the GalerĂa Mall in Tysonâs Corner. First, they are almost non existent; second, the few ties these stores have on display they ALL look just the same, nothing special, yes they are silk but again they ALL look the same, regardless of the brand. Price Tag $95-270. There is a suit store downstairs and they have ties but their quality and structure itâs just poor. Price tag $35. She asked me to feel the quality and difference of the fabrics she uses: Italian, American and Scottish designersâ wool, and even some eco-fashion French linen. They are really, really beautiful and handmade! I bought a couple immediately because since they are handmade they are unique and not too many, therefore exclusive. Iâve got my Italian ties made...
Read moreI've purchased fresh fruit and vegetables as well as hand made jewelry and cute clothing from this Farmer's Market for several years.
Lately, I've had the pleasure of assisting with the sales of fresh locally grown fruit and vegetables! I've been told by numerous customers that the fruit (especially the plums and peaches) are the best tasting fruit they've ever purchased!
Additionally, Barbara is known for her hand made cookies, breads and cakes. She has been involved with this Farmer's Market for approximately 30 years.
We have customers that come back weekend after weekend. Would love to see you there! Ask...

Despite this, there are several booths that remain open, including the patisserie (which has the most amazing croissants); a florist; a cheese booth; a local apple orchard booth; some arts and crafts booths; and a couple delicious comfort food vendors who are...
