I visited Freemansburg SuperCuts for a haircut. I have naturally curly/wavy hair. I had received a previous haircut by a stylist at another salon who had cut my hair short with too many layers. It took months to grow out. It’s so hard to find stylists who are skilled with curly/wavy hair. Debbie, the stylist at SuperCuts in Freemansburg, cut my hair in layers again. It looks beautiful. I now have layers that bring out the curl in just the right way. I could see it taking shape even before it was dry. Debbie was so careful, took her time, evened everything out, left the length, and was very attentive to detail. I had shown her a picture of a previous layered cut. She matched it perfectly. I will definitely return to Debbie. She has amazing talent and is very kind and patient. Thank you, Debbie! I...
Read moreThe hairstylist was very nice and the haircut is perfectly fine, no issue there. But to be charged $60 for a normal wash/cut/blow dry (no curls or styling, just drying) is outrageous for a chain like this. That is before tip. And no, you can't see the prices online before making your check-in appt. I go to Holiday Hair normally and it is $30-35 for same exact thing (they had no appointments today). A $60 women's haircut is what you expect to pay at a fancy salon, and a fancy salon is not what Supercuts is. Will never go again, the la carte pricing for wash and blowdry is fine but $35 for just that part is insane for a chain like this. Either go spend $30 at holiday hair or $60 at a fancy salon, but don't spend $60 at a Supercuts.
Edit: they responded that they'd reach out to me, a week ago,...
Read moreShame on woman at the front and shame on this guy who knowingly shoved himself and his child in front of people who actually planned properly. Not sure if this was nepotism or insider favoritism or what but I promise I will never return to this business.
I could tell by the way that she greeted me that the woman at the front (blonde hair with pink/purple in it) was in some sort of bind.
Well, after I checked in (@10:59 for my 11am appointment) she let some guy walk in with his son, and the guy said something like "You alright with us here? I know you're very busy" revealing neither he nor his son had an appointment, and she took his son before me, while I'd actually made an appointment. Horrible business practice.
Went out of my way to get this cut and now I'm leaving because this...
