The “Assistant” Manager Morgan and her closing staff needs a lesson on professionalism in the workplace. As a leader their should be a level of maturity and discernment that comes with the role of manager. Yet it was not displayed in any fashion when I patronized the store last weekend. She along with two other people on her staff was mocking, and belittling a Senior citizen that had a returrned an item. Instead of exuding patience and understanding they openly mocked her as she walked away to find something to purchase with an in-store credit she had just received. When I approached the cashier who was Not in with the brood. I asked to speak to the Manager. He pointed her out,and she was amongst those mocking and laughing at the senior citizen. I asked if they had something derogatory to say why didnt they take that off-stage. But to speak that way about her way was very unprofessional on their part especially where everyone can hear. I also mentioned that you never know who knows who. I mentioned that I knew her and instead of mocking they should have helped her. As I was attempting to speak with Morgan, she went about taking hangers out a bin and walking about as if what I was saying wasn’t important. I mentioned that as being unprofessional as well and that is when she told me to get out. I responded “No I will not!”” and that I would be reporting her to the corporate office. That’s when she told me to get out again and I responded “I didn’t have to leave because she didn’t like me checking her about her unprofessional behavior. “ Burlington needs to do a better job with their hiring practices. Not everyone with a pulse is a Qualified Candidate “especially as manager Hiring someone like Morgan who is not client centric, fails at the rudimentary skill set of respecting others and valuing customers is a poor representation/ambassador and a poor hire for YOUR brand! The only mature person in the whole interaction was the teenager who checked me out. Which displays the lack of leadership at this store and
I will not patronize this store and I tell others to not patronize this store as well.

Read moreI'm totally into Burlington these days as you can really find some great bargains. Unfortunately when mom and I decided to try a this new Burlington (new to us anyway) it was just too messy and chaotic to really enjoy it.
Upon entering you look to your right and you will see a couple of racks of purses. The purses are dangling, dropped all over the floor with the racks tilted and tightly meshed together. When shopping mom requires assistance with me pushing her in the transporter chair; navigating this store with the chair was a chore as we zig and zagged to avoid fallen merchandise and random empty racks in every department of the store.
The merchandise was clean and well-tagged but we noticed you can find a much wider array of current clothing items at other Burlington's (the one in Macomb near Gratiot is excellent!).
Ample parking, great location but totally not in-line with the feel of a Bloomfield Hills store (sniff,...
Read moreI was excited to see this new location.Large store, wide selection of products.Everything was well organized, easy to shop aisles, clean and neat store.I wished this had stay this way. I am so disappointed with my last visit.I guess its about 2.-3rd months since its open..Already turned in to a huge mess.. I give 4 star only Because the Prices are really good on those brands.I usually shop here for kids-baby products which has lots of selection with good brands and great deals. But with this mess , merchandise on the floor, disorganized racks ,aisles even closed with products all over. Cant believe how its turns out within such a short time.Dont know whatever the reason; disrespectful customers, stuff shortages. But no one would like to shop in a mess store… Hope it...
