There is a tiny man with a long grey beard who is always annoyed when I come in. I thought maybe he was just mad at me for being taller than him but I noticed from several other reviews he’s rude and condescending to everyone. This place is walking distance to my house, but I avoid this location and will sometimes drive 20-30 minutes to get what I need from another location. I will usually pull up and if I see the tiny man with a grey beard trying to look over the counter I will just leave. Once I came in to buy two pre workout drinks from the cooler, there was no one in the front of the store, I waited a few minutes before the tiny man with the grey beard appeared, he seemed angry as if I interrupted some self pleasuring time, and the moment I swiped my card he turned and ran back to the backroom again (assuming he went to finish his self pleasuring) he didn’t tell me the sale was done or anything so I left, as I started to drive away I noticed my banking app had declined the sale, I could have left and I just taken the two drinks for free but I decided to turn around and pay, when I got back the angry little man with the gray beard was waiting for me, I apologized several times and he treated me like I had robbed his store at gun point. I paid him cash and apologized several times and was met with rude behavior. I then came in on another date for another two cans of pre workout, to which he suggested I buy an entire case of the pre workout, I was embarrassed to tell him I had rent coming up and could not afford the case, and he replied that it was “even stupider of me to waste money daily on individual cans”. Although I appreciate his financial advice I thought it was a supplement store? It would be nice if he gave some supplements advice instead of how to spend my money. Also a 12 pack of cans of preworkout is $35, individual cans are $3.50, meaning if I bought them individually the coast is $42, I also like different flavors and get sick of drinking the same flavor 12x. So if it’s “stupid of me” to spend an extra $7 to enjoy your product, isn’t that a benefit to the store? Also I buy these cans 3-4x a week, meaning I visit your store 9-12x a month, to which I would buy other products like sleeping aids, proteins, electrolytes, recovery vitamins, when I do have extra money, must I go on? I could deal with him being an insufferable human, he was angry before I got there and is probably still scaring off customers right now. But to insult me for spending more money at your store isn’t just rude, it’s bad business. I feel like he was given this store from his rich dad and his dad told him he wouldn’t get his trust fund unless he worked there for 10 years. And he takes it out on all the customers. There is a very lovely young lady named Audrey who is kind when you enter says hello, and if she isn’t helping someone at the front is walking around assisting people asking if they have questions or need any help, something he tiny angry man with the grey beard knows nothing about. Because of her I started buying other products and trying new things. But the tiny angry man with the grey beard is so rude, impatient, condescending, ignorant, abrasive, arrogant, dismissive, unresponsive, inflexible, lacks empathy, unknowledgeable, disorganized, unreliable, defensive, and unprofessional that I will never ever ever ever ever ever go back to this store again. I hope he leaves and finds a job where he doesn’t have to interact with people. I sincerely hope he does not have a wife or children as I would suggest someone do a quality check on them to ensure that they are not...

I just picked up an online purchase and the customer service was questionable. There were three people at the counter when I walked in but I could not see the third person initially. I only knew she was there because that is who asked me if she could help me. The two other people were men and they were just staring at me. I did not feel welcome at all. I said I have a pick up from an online order and had my ID ready since my confirmation email said I would need it. One of the guys asked for my name so I told him and he proceeded to get my order. I tried to show him my ID but he barely glanced at it and told me to sign the invoice that was attached to my items. The invoice did not have a space for a signature so I asked where exactly am I signing. The woman then chimed in and said to sign the bottom of this folded paper that did not require a signature. I scribbled my name, got my items and left because at this point I felt like I was being profiled. Why would I need to sign an invoice for an online order that was already paid for? He could have actually checked my ID to match the name or simply asked to see my email confirmation if it was that serious. My mother shops at The Vitamin Shoppe all the time and has never had to sign for her pick up orders. I called her as soon as I left to see if I was being paranoid and she confirmed that she never signs for her orders. I also was not asked if I wanted to purchase a bag even though I was holding my toddler and I was picking up two bottles of liquid vitamins. Very weird customer service for a store that did not have a single other customer. I’m glad I got a discount on what I was picking up but I will be buying directly from the manufacturer next time like I usually do where I can retrieve my package at...

2nd time visiting this location and probably the last me and my husband went back to get more vitamins because the first time we were there we had a great experience, with a very knowledgeable young man wish I could remember his name very nice Latino and very helpful which is why we returned ,but this time was the total opposite we walked in and there were 2 girls one with curly hair and another with tattoos well I thought the girl with the tattoos was a customer because they were just talking snd she didnt have a name tag, mind you we weren't greated by either one when we walked in the store until I seen her walk behind the counter and realized she was an employee. This was after we had walked around the store about 4 times and they were just chatting away. Not one of them offered to help so I approached the girl with the tattoos to ask for help (only to get a dirty look like why are you asking me for help i hate being here) and get pointed to a completely different product so we just left dissaponted and with no product then she had the nerve ask as we walked away if we found what we were looking for. After seeing all the reviews on these girls why are they still there ?? You guys need to do better we spent alot of...
