Let me start by saying that my family and I have been going to different breakfast restaurants every Sunday morning for over 5 years now. Every now and then I review some of these places and I decided to do a review for this place because people need to be warned.
When part of our party arrived first, we were seated right away but that was the only part of the entire experience that was timely. This is not a big restaurant at all but there were 4-5 servers in total. Most places we go to have less servers and way more tables. Despite this, we had to wait much longer than usual just for water or our server to show up.
First of all, we had to wait not once, but twice, for the coffee to be made just to get refills. This is the ONLY restaurant we have ever been to where we had to wait for coffee to be made. And though our server was nice, he rarely came to the table to check to see if we needed anything. At times we had to stand up (we sat behind the wall) to try to get the attention of our server or anyone's attention for that matter.
When the food arrived, it didn't arrive all at the same time, which isn't that unusual but my one sister had to wait much longer than the rest of us. They forgot my dad's French toast, the pancakes looked like they were dropped on the floor, my other sister's food was at different temperatures and when we asked for hot sauce, we were all halfway through our food before it actually showed up. The only reason we got refills on our coffee was because we kept asking. Our server didn't bother to refill drinks unless he was directly asked which made it even more frustrating because we had to wait so damn long just for him to show up.
If you want good service and a nice atmosphere then this place is NOT for you. For us, the food was not good enough to try and warrant another visit. The atmosphere doesn't feel inviting, the wait staff that helped were not very friendly. I highly recommend you skip this place and try a location that has much better service and...
Read moreUnfortunately have to give this place 1 star. After reading all of the bad reviews I still wanted to give it a try but it was exactly what we read…. The only positive: the restaurant is clean and nice atmosphere, also the green juice was clean and fresh. It wasn’t a busy Saturday but took forever for them to take order. The ladies just there chatting not paying attention. But they did apologized later.
We came for lunch and order lunch entree. I got the chipotle chicken panini which was bad… that there was a piece of hair on it ( I let it go because we waited for a while and hungry) but when I looked at the panini there were only chicken, tomato, lettuce and mayo sauce. No buratta cheese no bacon, or sauté onions as it shows on menu. The lady took it back to the kitchen and returned with melted cheese but not buratta cheese and pieces bacon. The dish just so bad and cold. The other dish my husband got was chicken quesadilla, it was so cold also…we thought there were no cheese it was like they just put cheese just for garnish…so dried, picked up one piece all the chicken fell off the tortilla, the pickle jalapeños just too big and MORE than cheese.
Not worth it for the price!!!
They need to work better on there service and kitchen team. Not just throwing stuffs together and call it a dish…
Maybe their breakfast items better… but probably not going back. Everybody have different dine experience but for us it was really...
Read moreMeh. I would recommend the location in Bartlett. The decor is nice and it’s a cozy place, welcoming, so my husband and I were hopeful as we tried this place for the first time. Service: not the best. She never refilled our waters. I had to ask for more coffee. They brought my husbands food out first. He ordered soup, cream of chicken and rice, it was good. They need to bring out peoples food together unless specified. We came to eat together, not watch each other eat. Also, she rarely checked on us and after waiting my husband had to ask for the check. ( They were not busy.)
I ordered the Salmon Benedict, which was, well, different. There wasn’t much flavor. Didn’t like the flatbread. The chipotle sauce was good, but the dish didn’t come together. And the potatoes seemed to be reheated. At first I was excited as I like crispy potatoes and they looked like they would be. But when I chewed them. They were not crispy at all. More chewy and oily … disappointing.
Also, cup of coffee is close to $4( rounded up). Just regular coffee. I know the cost of goods are going up, but that’s a bit much for just a no frill cup of coffee, especially if I have to ask for a refill. Don’t know if...
