My Favorite Muffin — Restaurant in Lyndon

Ordered online through door dash. 12 jumbo muffins and two breakfast sandwiches. They outright forgot my sandwiches, frustrating but stuff happens. Called the store to ask what happened as the driver responded “they never gave me sandwiches” when I asked him what happened. The woman at the store was doing her best I could tell she was stressed, stated she was training and that’s why the sandwiches were forgotten. Again, I get it stuff happens.

Quality of the muffins was fine, nothing to write home about. However my BIGGEST problem with them is actually very dangerous. Bit in to a carrot cake muffin and immediately tasted walnut, not disclosed on the menu whatsoever. Thankfully I only break out in hives due to a tree nut allergy but someone who goes in to anaphylactic shock would have had a real bad day.

I've always had great experiences previously but today was different. I stopped by this afternoon and saw the sign on the door about the credit card machine being down. Obviously not their fault, so I left and went down the street to my bank's ATM and got some cash out and came back.

Once inside they only had three trays of muffins left, over 80% of their product line was sold out at 3pm. It seems like their credit card machine has been down longer than just today so they baked less in anticipation of reduced business. I was disappointed to say the least. I work at Great American Cookies and we would never let our products go completely out of stock, once we notice something getting low and we don't have any extra in the back we start baking more. The staff was friendly. The muffins were delicious! I highly recommend any of the cinnamon varieties & the double chocolate. (They used to have a sweet corn muffin years ago that was delicious warmed with butter & I wish they'd bring it back!) This is yet another business that would benefit from a more easily accessible parking lot in general, and some more disabled access would be helpful too. Trying to juggle a dozen muffins, coffee, & a cane was a bit challenging, but a kind customer gave me a hand...
