IT'SUGAR Mizner Park — Local services in Boca Raton

Been to a number of Itsugar locations (from Brooklyn NY to Myrtle Beach) ... this review is specifically for the Mizner Park location. Unnecessary and unacceptable customer service from a cashier while making a purchase. So many people come inside these locations, look around and leave. A family member was purchasing over $25 worth of overpriced candy and was treated horribly - because he sampled a single chocolate covered espresso bean before paying for it. I get it - you can't give away the store if everyone comes in to sample, but at some point you need to take a step back and say, "ok this guy is here at the register buying a lot of stuff, i'm not going to embarrass him in front of his family" .... I can only explain her behavior as that of a disgruntled employee. I don't leave many (if any) 1 star reviews. This is actually my first. We left disappointed and will not return to ANY location. I know I am only 1 customer, but I was advocating your stores. Not anymore. Now my story will be how you disrespected an older gentleman with your nastiness. We had a fantastic experience at It's Sugar on Thanksgiving day! Patrice took amazing care of us and truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. The employee working today on 12/22/2024 went beyond the call of duty. I wanted red-hots for a recipe and couldn't find them anywhere.
