Well, I just love Men's Wearhouse to begin with. I love their selection, their prices, the quality of all their clothing lines, their tailoring, the service, and the ability to pretty much dress yourself from head to toe, as a man, without going into s idl me annoying department store. Personally, however -- and I've been in quite a few Men's Wearhouses in the Chicago area as well as across the country-- I have found this particular Men's Wearhouse in Bolingbrook (the one by IKEA, not in the Promenade) to be the best out of all of the ones I have visited. The manager, Mike, seems to know how to assemble and maintain a top notch team at his store, which is actually quite a larger accomplishment in retail than I think a lot of people may realize. But I have ALWAYS.had a stellar service experience, each and every time I have ever stepped into this store. The associates are attentive and helpful without hovering and being annoying. They make really excellent addon recommendations without making you feel like they're just out to sell you as much as they can to make more commission. They just all seem to have found the right balance, and that has to largely be attributable to the management team. Anyway, they always recognize and greet me each time I go into the store, even if it's sometimes months in between, as is often the case, and there's just something about that personal level of attention that goes a very long way in entrusting someone with helping you look your best. And again, their products are all very current/contemporary, without going over the line into "trendy," and I feel like they have a pretty good variety of everything, from formalwear to business wear to evening attire all the way down to casual clothing. They also have the shoes to go with all of it, too. The last thing I will say is that I have found the the gentlemen who work at this particular location also seem to go the extra mile to make sure I'm getting the best deal possible. There have been multiple occasions now in which I will get to the register fully ready and willing to pay the price I've estimated my costs to be while shopping, only to have the associate find ways to give me an even better deal than I thought I was going to get to begin with. So, I really do appreciate them helping me stretch my dollars further!! Anyway, I'm sure I've gone on too long already, so I will simply end by saying that I fully appreciate the level of service and quality and variety of product offered by this Men's Wearhouse location....
Read moreNeed to purchase a couple of suits. Initially went to the shop in Aurora - on route 59. Bob greeted me and was very patient showing and make me try a variety of suits. The one that I liked was not in stock, so Bob verified and requested me to go to the shop in Bolingbrook near Boughton and 355. Went there this is a much bigger shop and there was hardly anyone there in the shop, I walked inside the store and was near the suit section, a guy from the adjacent room came out and did said "whats up" without making eye contact and went about moving some rack, no greeting, no "how can I help you" basic things that you expect when you walk into a store. I spend about 15 minutes going over the suits by myself and did find a few that I liked, but no one cared to help me! Oh there was one more guy who walked past me and and did not acknowledge me! I was planning to spend about $750, but then thought to myself as to why should I give business to a place that lacks basic customer service? Walked out of the store, went to Macy's and was assisted by a very friendly staff person and ended up buying 2 pair of suits/ 2 shirts/ and a tie. Total cost $675. with a nice savings coupon that they had. Never will I step into Men's Wearhouse!...
Read moreJust left this place 5 mins ago. Stopped in to get a gift card for my fathers birthday, however, the experience was less than desirable. I walked in, no one acknowledged me, but simply walked past. I proceed to the register towards the back. The gentlemen at the register did not speak to me when I was up next to be rung out for a gift card. A random customer walked by and said to me "Did you sign in? You have to be signed in", as if she worked there. But she was in fact there with her teenage son. One, I'm a WOMAN, and dressed as such. I'm also by myself, I'm clearly not trying anything on. The employee heard this customer, yet did not say anything. I walked right around this woman to the gentlemen cashiering and told him I needed a $250 gift card. I asked for a balance inquiry alongside a receipt. The manager came over and said they don't print balance inquiries. If I was of Caucasian descent I'm sure my experience would've been more pleasurable. My dad spends thousands of dollars here, I'm sure he'll be shopping at a...
