I have had wonderful experiences here. I have been going here for 5 years with 3 of my dogs. It wasn’t till recently when I started going on Saturdays due to my new work schedule that they got all opinionated about my dog. I got everything done on my dog and paid the price. Nails, ear cleaning, bath, blow dry, you name it. I spent the money and that’s when the lady came out and started going on a rant on how he’s an anxious dog and telling me what I need to do with him which I understand but it just kept going and going for 10 minutes and I still didn’t have my dog in my hands. This was the first time she has worked with my dog so I was like no wonder he is a bit anxious. They didn’t blow dry him at all and they told me that… went home and inspected a bit and his nails weren’t even cut and it looks like they didn’t brush him all that well in places that needed the attention. It’s beyond crazy to me how I have been going here for a little over 5 years and all of a sudden it turned into a place idk if I trust. Mind you this is the second time on a Saturday I tried out thinking maybe they were having an off day the first time around but this was just crazy. I spent the full price plus a tip for aa job I could do...

I have never in the past written a bad review but the Dog House is the first for me. I brought my Havanese into the Dog House for the 3rd time. Groomer could/would not wash my dog or trim face and head & tail unless I gave her permission to shave my dogs ears due to some matting. She never said that last 2 times. I did not want ears shaved. I ask her to finish clipping face & head as nothing was done. They said that would be another $25 as a walk in (I just had her back & legs shaved she was there for hours) and groomer said she could NOT without a bath. Groomer was so fixated on dogs ears she would not complete the groom if I did not agree to getting ears shaved! Maybe they should invest in products that would be needed like spry to detangle. So for $50 I got a dirty ungroomed dog back!!!! I have had 3 Havanese and other groomers charging $40 to $50 plus tip w/o a problem. For $75+ minimum for basic grooming at Dog House I was robbed. Now I will take my dog someplace else to finish the job $$ Good advertising ….. POOR service. Andrea and Mike please refund...

FANTASTIC! Would give them 10 stars if I could. We took our 58lb golden retriever/chow mix, pooch to the Bonney Lake Dog House. Our pooch is a rescue and she is skittish and HATES getting bathed. She is extremely furry and difficult to bathe. We made an appointment, they were right on schedule, she was finished when promised, looked absolutely adorable, like a stuffed animal, so fluffy, soft, trimmed up all pretty and she wasn't the least bit traumatized. They even said that she was really good for them, so they must have a way with "special" animals. The cost was extremely reasonable. We will be taking her there every time...
