Erin Corcoran provided a phenomenal experience of walking part of the Freedom Trail within downtown Boston! We 3 seniors were eager to see and hear about some of the key Boston historical moments found along the Freedom Trail. We'd read that a self-guided tour might be a better experience than taking a guided tour. Not true. BOSTON BY FOOT (and Erin, in particular) gave us what became one of the highlights of our two-week trip to the Northeast. She is knowledgeable, informed, personable, and enthusiastic about the history she shared AND architecture! And that additional perspective about the downtown buildings from an ARCHITECT, was a bonus. She entertained questions comfortably and had OBVIOUSLY done research beyond the minimum facts and stories that the organization would want anyone to know. We received a balanced viewpoint related to events about which we heard in-depth, later, from going through several Boston museums. By far, SUPERIOR to walking it ourselves and reading a pamphlet (or listening to an app). Thank you, Erin Corcoran!

Boston By Foot offers an exceptional journey through history, culture, and the rich tapestry of Boston's past. The tour is thoughtfully curated, with attractions perfectly spaced to ensure a comfortable and engaging experience. Our guide, Mr. Hu, stood out with his deep knowledge and infectious passion for American history. His patient and enthusiastic storytelling made the history of Boston, from its colonial roots to the stories of its notable figures, come alive in a way that was both enlightening and inspiring. Walking through the city with him, I felt so proud being a Bostonian. The experience was not just educational but also a heartfelt reminder of the city's significant heritage and its role in shaping American history.

Took a wonderful Heart of the freedom trail tour with Tom M last weekend. It was just the right amount of walking and well paced. Tom was very knowledgeable and it was clear he loves Boston. He took time to engage both of my children in different age appropriate ways, while still keeping it interesting for the adults. Also had a great experience when setting up the tour with Courtney in the office. Will recommend BBF to anyone headed into Boston with interest in the history.

We purchased tickets for 8 last weekend for a tour that was to take place at 1pm, meeting in Faneuil Hall. After we purchased the tickets and were trying to find Faneuil Hall, we tried contacting them by phone numerous times and there was no answer. We left several messages indicating that we were lost and were afraid we were going to miss the tour because we didn't know where to go. We arrived approximately 15 minutes after the tour started and no one was there. We tried to find an office and the security people at Faneuil Hall told us that Boston By Foot doesn't have an office. Apparently they don't answer the phone either. Two days later a rep from their company informed me that they would be refunding our $ since they hadn't answered the phone or responded to our many messages, and there has been no refund. Now she tells me that the director stated that "they fulfilled their end of the bargain" by being present at the statue in Faneuil Hall at the designated time, so there will be no refund. How obnoxious, and really bad for business. Save your money and take your tour with one of the more reputable and...
