This place is smaller than we expected, but the bigger issue was the prices. I came in with my kids, and they each wanted to buy a cheap looking plastic quill pen and a chocolate frog. There were no prices on anything, so I asked before purchasing the pens, and I think my jaw literally dropped when he said $20 for a pen. He tried to say they were high quality pens, but I googled and found the same ones on Amazon in bulk for $1.25 each. The chocolate frogs were $10 each! I have bought them elsewhere for $4-$5 a piece. We left empty handed, and my kids were slightly disappointed, but even they seemed to understand it was a ripoff. I was just walking down Newbury Street, minding my own business, when my nerd senses alerted me to a bunch of Harry Potter flags waving about in the breeze. The best surprise of my life. This is the next best thing to going to the giftshops in Harry Potter world all the way in Florida. This is truly a little magical hole in the wall for Harry Potter fans. There's little Harry Potter candies, butter beer (butterscotch beer), jewelry, puzzles, hats, socks, scarves, notebooks, Harry Potter books, posters, pins, stickers, decorations, plushie Hedwig.
