Jian Min Massage Therapy — Local services in Boston

It’s a extremely terrible experience here. The person hurt my neck badly. When I was massaged, she answered a call that a guy urged her to have the next appointment. I don’t think she was pay attention to my massage. Most of the time she stepped of my back instead of using hands to massage. I said pain, but she said I will few comfortable later. After I was massaged, I immediately felt my neck was worse. Hours later at yesterday night, when I lied on my bed, my neck felt SO pain. I couldn’t not lie and move my neck anymore. The whole night I sat on my bench, when I was asleep I woke up soon because of pain. Today until right now I also feel pain when I eat, talk even without doing anything. My neck was hurt BADLY! I didn’t ask they refund me any fee or any compensation. I only want to share this issue with others to may help you avoid this kind of...

Sorry to say I do not recommend jian min massage therapy at all. First, the massage therapist was talking with each other and it was not relaxing at all. Second, it was 10 mins short. Third, it demands a good tip based on (1) and (2). Third, I tried to talk to the owner but the massage therapist said owner does not care and you have to pay good tip or cannot go. I was in a rush and need go somewhere so had to pay good tip. Fourth, the massage therapist left in the middle of the session and changed another one without any communication to me. Last, at the time of payment, telling me cash only. It was just such an unpleasant experience. I wish I could rate this place 0. Anyway, as there are so many massage options in Chinatown, I am sorry but I do NOT recommend this...

The entire experience was very bad..the lady at the front was aggressively asking us to pay even before the massage started. We booked a 4:00 pm appointment and they kept saying “5 minutes” and started only at 4:30, and this was only after I asked to talk to the manager. The person giving the massage was not very good and the overall massage experience was only neck and shoulders instead of full body which is what the lady said when I called, so I thought this was very overpriced. Finally, after the massage when we were about to leave, the lady aggressively yelled at us to give a tip, even though the our entire experience was underwhelming, with the wait time, bad massage, and lady shouting. I would not recommend this place to anyone…avoid...
