Long story short, I paid $63 for my hair for it to look the exact same. I told the guy (blue hair) cutting my hair that I didn’t like the way it was going and he told me “no this is good, if I cut your hair shorter it will look bad” (translated from Mandarin)
To be honest, after reading all these bad reviews I totally agree with them now. I should have read them before walking into the salon.
‼️As a young woman, going to this salon made me feel so unheard and uncomfortable about the entire experience. ‼️
I just wanted to share this really quickly. At first, the man did not even tell me the price until I had asked him and that was while I already laid down and washed my hair. I felt like I had been scammed by then, I was too afraid to speak up. He kept telling me that my bangs can’t be cut short because it will be bad for dancing, I told him it will grow out by them. I know my hair the best and he should’ve listened, I can’t believe I am writing this. He asked questions about my family, where I was from, how old I am, my star sign and the animal year that I was born in, asked where I live, what my surname is, I don’t understand how any of this is relevant to my hair. He took photos of my hair multiple times, yet he never asked if he could take photos of my hair that had my face in it. I told him I didn’t understand Mandarin that well enough and he kept saying difficult phrases for me to understand. He told me my hair is very thick and beautiful, my face is very clear, and said I looked under 20. I appreciate the compliments, but as an underage girl I felt as it was inappropriate. I hope everyone can understand and watch out for yourself and others before coming...
Read moreI want to share an uncomfortable and disturbing experience my girlfriend had at this hair salon, in hopes of warning others.
She was verbally harassed by a male hairdresser who wears glasses. He made inappropriate comments about her appearance—saying her skin looked like it hadn’t been well maintained, and criticizing her middle-part hairstyle by implying it made her look older, even though she’s still very young.
His behavior was also highly unprofessional. He only cut the parts of her hair closest to her face, stood uncomfortably close the entire time, and touched her face multiple times. At one point, he even patted her shoulder in an overly familiar and inappropriate way. On top of that, his fingernails were long and sharp, and while washing her hair, it felt like he was going to scratch or puncture her scalp.
The whole experience left her feeling extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. I strongly advise women to avoid this salon, and especially this stylist. Ladies, please stay away from this place. And to the guys out there—don’t bring your girlfriend here. Let’s protect the people...
Read moreThe worse place to do my nails. I brought a coupon for Gel and she's ( the in charg person) trying to make me understand that coupon was not for Gel. They brought a girl to help them when the store was empty and she wasn't prepared and doesn't know where the things were. While doing to my cuticle she hurt me couple times and blood came out from different cuticles. I asked to do my feet, she (charg person) brought me a pocket with hot water and I couldn't put my feet in it bc it was too hot and she put green powder on it. While doing my nails my feet were in the pocket, the water got cold, my feet got cold and she didn't come and do anything. At the end police came for some reason. When my nails were finally done the girl didn't know what to do about my feet bc the charg person was with the police and i wasn't able to finish. The all reviews I read made me go all way there. Taking two Trains but was very disappointed. Never...
