We loved Polka Dog when we lived in Boston. Our little dog knew the way to the location we lived near and would actually walk us there - that’s how much she’s a fan of their treats.

Since moving to Philly, that love still continues. And thankfully we can buy some Polka Dog treats at local pet stores like Doggie Style Pets. But for her biggest obsession - the duck wraps and fruit roll ups - we still rely on Polka Dog Delivery. It’s such a good experience too - quick shipping, always well packed.

This is a great spot to grab a gift for a puppy in your life.

They have a downstairs full of toys and leashes and collars. The bakery upstairs is where they make tons of treats (which they sell in cute packaging). They have a bunch of glass jars with treats and chewy toys (the fermented yak milk stick lasts forever and the dogs love it). Also lots of fun toys upstairs.

I've only ever purchased gifts here but I know they have food and dog-paw-friendly salt for the sidewalk, too.

We love Polkadog products but found the service much friendlier at the Jamaica Plain location. We didn’t even get a greeting when we walked in and there was only one other customer there. I wanted to ask some questions about the products and stood around waiting for one employee to finish chatting but gave up and then had to find one that was crouched behind the counter. Same story while checking out. Had to wait and practically jump up and down to get someone’s attention. Guess we’re not the right kind of clientele for this...
