Customer service should be definitely worked on. The kinky haired man working was very helpful and had no problem helping me find clothes around the store and even took some of the clothes off the mannequin because they were out of stock. However, when I was changing in the fitting room, the associate with the green eyes didn't accommodate me at all. As I walked to the fitting room area, she did not even greet me or any of the customers behind me. She was on her phone and talking to someone in her headphones. I walked out and asked if she could get me these clothes items and she said that I had to go to the register and see if they had them. I almost felt the need to show her where exactly to find the items I wanted. I told her that I didn't want to leave my belongings there and she said she'd watch over them and then continued talking on the phone. It clearly wasn't busy. What was the point of her working in the fitting rooms if she didn't help at all ? Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been here many times. I wouldn't say there is a wide selection of clothes. But their shoe selection is very limited and they just seem to have vans, converse & nike. Which is odd when all of three of those stores are at Newbury street and you could find the shoes they are selling at Urban at those exact stores for cheaper. There isn't a lot of sales associates on the sales floor and if there is they aren't interacting with the customers and more so with their co workers and talking amongst each other. Which is uncomfortable for a first time shopper or a tourist coming into the area. The location is nice but other than that the clothes are very over priced. I have to been other Urban Outfitters who have had a wide selection of clothes and shoes, maybe this specific location doesn't. For that it doesn't stack up to the rest and wouldn't spend my money here because the clothes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInteresting encounter I had at the store today. I'm partially deaf and wear an earing aid device. I sat by the window and one of the girls working there ( for identification purposes: she is Afro-American with long curly black hair, they said her name is Alicia) in an extremely rude way told me: "you don't sit by the window" she had to repeat it 3 times as I was trying to read her lips and at the same time trying to understand why she was being condescending for absolutely no reason. She then proceeded to make fun of me with her colleague as they were both laughing like children. Needless to say that I had my wife drop every piece of clothing she was going to buy because of what just happen. If you're reading this young lady, learn some respect, you work in retail...
