I absolutely love this place. It’s a calm and inviting place where the staff always makes me feel at home and attended to. They are knowledgeable and honest whenever I ask questions. When you join you get a few free coupons for add ins and upgrades and I enjoyed trying all of those out. The experience is straightforward and relaxing and my message specialist Brian always made me feel heard and respected. Both the specialist and the front desk staff always do everything in their power to make the experience perfect. This is the third place I tried having a massage membership with and they take the cake hands down. My previous experience with competitor Spavia was so negative that I was almost too scared to join another place. All of the issues I’ve had at past places were never issues here. And if they were issues, the team worked with me to resolve it immediately. When I felt uncomfortable going due to COVID, they didn’t ask questions or try to convince me not to pause my account, they made it SO easy and that made me feel supported and comfortable compared to other places that always come across sales driven and fake. One time, They charged me when I had already froze my account due to the pandemic and it caused my back account to go into overdraft protection. I called and told someone and they immediately reversed the charge and credited the amount charged from overdraft to my account. I've been coming here for years. Luckily, I am grandfathered into their original price of $60/mo. So happy about that because I can't afford to pay more for a massage. Though I probably would because * is just the best. I blurred his name because I'm selfish and don't want him to get overbooked from this review lolol. He is a massage therapist at this location and he knows my body so well after seeing him for years. He is great at everything but my favorite is the neck work and foot rubs. He knows what I like and what I don't like. Totally worth the 45 minute drive from Denver! I appreciate hand and stone and their membership program. I often forget to redeem my points but I know they're stacking up and I plan to use them soon! I've also gotten 2 facials here. I absolutely loved the first lady I saw but the 2nd not as much. The manager was made aware of my issues and did not respond. Throughout the massage the masseuse had a tremor that did not create a relaxing or thorough experience. His phone went off at one point. He used his nails. He used my head as traction to massage my shoulders. He was not observant enough to see if he was massaging my hair into my shoulders and pulling it out. He talked to my shoulders saying, “ come here, you,” and then laughed. He would use a scant amount of massage oil and then toss it on the bed, numerous times landing on me. He fumbled around with the sheets and blanket in a confused and unprofessional manner. At one point he accidentally covered up his massage oil that was between my calves and then proceeded to dig for it.
