Forma Furniture in Boulder (and Ft Collins) is a high-end furniture store. They represent the Stressless brand of luxury Scandinavian comfort chairs. This furniture from Norway is well made and ergonomically designed. The Stressless line includes a variety of “similar” chairs that are different enough that it takes both time and, more importantly, a sales staff that is fully familiar with the full product line to completely appreciate the variety of individual features. This is where Forma and their Sales Consultant Lynn excel. Through his extensive knowledge he was able to help find the right chairs for my wife and me. Further, in order to fully appreciate the design and comfort of these chairs it is necessary to spend some time sitting in them. The Forma store provided the ideal setting to spend time with the chairs in a relaxed atmosphere to be assured that we were making the most informed decision. Lynn is very knowledgeable about the product line and was able to facilitate our selection process. He provided valuable insight into other similar chairs in the Stressless line to the ones we chose. In fact he brought in another chair from their other store to assure we had the best choices available as we finalized our decision. Lynn provided the high level of professional service that one would expect to help in selecting an important long-term luxury item expected to provide comfort and value for a number of years. Warning read critical reviews before buying. I ordered a stressless chair from Forma and like other poor reviews on this site I have now waited months past the intended delivery date with absolutely no proactive Communication from the sales agent or owner. I called in several times and was told they would get back to me and the first two times I received no callback. It was only once I was upset that they paid attention to my requests by returning my phone calls. However even then, when I requested a refund because I could not wait for the chair any longer because I am moving, I was told I would have to pay a 50% restocking fee. This is ludicrous as the industry as a whole typically request a 10 to 15% restocking fee. I was told that they could ship it to my new home location but that I would encourage charges for that. In the end I still don’t have my chair, I am in the middle of a move from Colorado to the East Coast and the most stressful element of my experience is dealing with Forma. Forma Furniture in Boulder is the most wonderful store!! I've been in there several times recently, and the people working there are just absolutely lovely! The owner himself, Travis, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He has helped me very patiently in selecting the perfect chair for my chronic injuries in my neck and back. They also have affordable financing that makes the whole process easy if you need furniture and want to buy some time. The gorgeous selections from the Ekornes Stressless company are incredible and the ONLY recliners I have found anywhere in the Boulder/Denver area that actually are so very supportive and therapeutic that I can sleep In if my painful neck and back act up. This is a beautiful store with people like Lynn, who patiently helped me select a chair for weeks on end and Karen who is also delightful.
