[[November 25 update: How do you get things done? a) ask nicely and follow up; or b) write a public review. The answer here is of course b).]] My mom died there three months ago. While her nurses and attendants were fantastic, the administration there is beyond awful. They don't return calls. They don't follow up. People are being replaced all the time. My sister gave them an old address when she entered the facility and they sent all communication there and would never change the address. They kept sending communications to a house that was sold prior to her arrival and they would get forwarded to me. Makes a lot of sense to mail invoices to the home of an immobile person living in your facilities and to have a strict policy whereby this address can never be changed. I created a trust fund so she could get haircuts and when we closed the fund despite having my address on the paperwork and noting the futility of mailing a check to a dead person, they sent the check to her old address. Since it had been 6+ months since her move, the post office did not forward it to me. I called on October 11 to have them issue a new check. They asked for a death certificate and proof of my relationship, which I sent that same day. That same day I called Aetna to cancel supplemental insurance and they mailed me a check within a week. I followed up here a week ago with the admin via email and she did not respond. I called today and she said they were "trying" to stop the check and had issues with the software on their end. I said never mind. I don't want to keep dragging out her post-death logistics and its only $142. Do they have any sympathy or thoughts whatsoever? Other companies have clear training to be helpful to people who have lost a loved one. This company, in the business of death, has no such sensitivity...
Read moreThis skilled nursing facility was wonderful. I was referred to the University of Utah Hospital from St Luke's Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho I went into St Luke's Feb 13th and on the 17th of Feb went to UofUtah hospital, had Knee surgery on Feb 19th then on to your facility on Feb 25th for some Physical therapy and I was with your facility then released to go home on April 12th. I want you to know you have a beautiful facility, and wonderful employee's. Every Dr, nurse and CNA were very respectable and always had smiles on their faces. I also learned alot with your OT Jordan and his partner, whoops I forgot her name I am so sorry. They were both awesome people. And even your maintenance man he was very friendly and respectable. Every time he passed my room he looked at me and said "Hi Carol, Good morning, or good afternoon and was always with a smile. And I compliment all your cleaning staff they were extremely respectable and always so very nice. And they cleaned every day sometimes twice a day. Your facility was extremely clean and smelled so nice all thru the facility. Also I would like to tell you that the family that came to pick me up on April 12th 2025 had mentioned to me this statement "Wow, I've worked in a few facility's and this place is SUPER CLEAN compared to the ones I have worked in." And Lisa, I have to tell you and all who worked with me that the day I left I only got about 10 miles away from you all and I started missing all of you My best to all of you
God Bless you all Love,...
Read moreMy 80 year old dad was recently admitted into another facility in bountiful. After the first night there, we knew we could not keep him there so my mom called Life Care and they were able to get him transferred to there facility right away. You could tell immediately a difference in this place. First impression the place smelled better and was CLEAN! The staff was friendly, patient and most importantly they have been attentive to him this whole time he has been there. (2 weeks now) He fell and broke his hip along with his shoulder so he has needed extra physical help to get around along with physical therapy that they have done such a good job with keeping him moving and motivated in a very positive way. The staff has listened to my sweet old dad tell the same stories over and over again, and have spent time helping get his computer set up to join zoom calls, even with his genealogy. the facility has activates that my dad has really enjoyed, I joined him for music time last week with a man that played some of my dads favorites.. (beach boys, Elvis.. all the good stuff) I could go on and on about how great this place is. My family is very grateful to the WHOLE staff at life care for going above and beyond to make this very scary, sad situation for my dad a very pleasant, easy and comforting experience. Thank you all so much!!! Your efforts have not...
