Lane Bryant — Local services in Bowie

My wife and I stopped in this store because Torrid was closed and my wife wanted to look at their bras. This was our first time at the Bowie shops and I’m so glad Torrid was closed tonight! When we went in the two associates were immediately welcoming and helpful. We were browsing things for my pregnant wife to wear to our baby shower and immediately both associates were invested! They were helpful and just had THE BEST energy! We found the perfect top and while that was exciting, interacting with Pam and Shari was honestly the highlight of our shopping time. So often during this pandemic the stress and exhaustion shows in retail staff, and rightfully so. But walking into Lane Bryant was a breath of fresh air on a cold Friday night! We will exclusively shop at this Lane Bryant because of these women! And when we were walking out and mentioned that another customer expressed that it’s the staff that keeps her coming to this...

My sister and I was in this location on Sunday 28th August. We were greeted and asked if would could be helped, I replied my sister needs to get fitted for a half bra. She corrected me and said strapless and I said yes. She the probed to go to the counter to get the measure while listening to a customer that was checking out. She then walked over to my sister and had her wait until the customer finish speaking (the conversation had nothing to do with helping her finalize her transaction). No apology for having her standing there. She helped by asking my sister what size bra does she wear. She fake like she was taking her measurements to then proceed to get the bra size my sister said. Well that was not the correct size, she had to go a size down. The home says the have professional people to help you. Well she was not. Maybe more training is...

I was just in this location on 01/15/23 with the intent of purchasing. I had merchandise in my hand and was looking for more underwear options and sizes in the lingerie drawers. A lady that I assume was the team leader came up to me and asked if I was "jacking up her panty drawer". I told her no, and she proceeded to stand there and critically stare at me, then told me not to put anything back myself and to leave it on top of the cabinet. Needless to say, I put all the merchandise back that I was holding and promptly left the store to shop at Torrid instead. I'm really disappointed in the way I was treated and I will never come back...
