Stix Yarn — Local services in Bozeman

The first time I went into Stix, it was for a learn-to-knit class. I was nervous but was immediately made to feel at home. It has been three years and quite a few classes later and I still think of Stix Yarn as one of the happiest places in Bozeman. The shop is well-stocked with yarn in all types and price points and with needlework crafts, books and notions! Tracy and Cameron are always available to offer suggestions on yarn selection, patterns and anything else. The class offerings are well run and are a great way to meet other knitters....

Best local yarn store EVER! I struggled to learn to knit, but the gracious patience of Tracy and Cameron got me through! They are so knowledgeable and so so helpful. I think I went in at least twice a day when I was learning, and they always had a smile and the help I needed. They didn't just fix my work, but taught me what to do in the future. I have had the pleasure of shopping at Stix for so many years, I have lost count. Every single time I walk in I feel like family, the shop is full of beautiful, yummy yarn that makes you HAVE to find a project to knit with it! Cameron and Tracy always help me with answers to my questions and I never feel bad about the project I put down, or the puzzle I couldn’t solve. This is the best yarn store I have been in, and I have been in a many around the country…I am grateful it is in the town...
