Horrible I sent my fiancé in to do a simple exchange when he couldn't find anything he opted to return the item instead ( we had been shopping the entire past weekend for the perfect coordinating red white and blue ensembles for the 4th of July and the receipt was somehow misplaced ) when he approached the counter he informed the cashier of such whom grinned and stated here we go (what does that mean?) She proceeded to state that the product had not been purchased and was not in the system(my husband very perplexed considering not only did the item have the TJ MAXX tickets attached but we had indeed purchased it from the very location) he asked to speak with a manager and the cashier very condescending stated well she's going to tell you the same thing and paged the manager who proceeded to grab the item flip it over and say yeah sorry without a receipt we can't take it back (Cleary that isn't the case becuase the return policy is stated on the back of their receipt and I've shopped not only at TJ MAXX but it's sister stores MARSHALL'S and HOME GOODS) he then asked for the corporate number and ANGIE the manager informed him that he could google it before tbe cashier chimed in ultimately giving the numbet not trying to make this a race issue but it's very clear by the ladies demeanor and responses that there was a underlined issue(My fiancé is a realtor a business owner and an outstanding citizen I guess we would've received a difference response had he been in his suit and not in a t-shirt and sandals) it's very sad and unfortunate I'm not going to lie and say I'll never shop at another TJMAXX however I assure you I will NEVER patronize the Brandon location again......ANGIE the manager must be re-evaluated in customer relations she handled the situation very poorly and has lost a loyal shopper.......I will share our experience with colleagues family and friends this is unacceptable and should not be tolerated

Read moreMy mother worked at Tj max for years in newjersey,so I am disappointed knowing it’s they are supposed to be I asked on the register for a discount of this item because it was clearly opened and to use I would have to do extra work to get it cleaned, it was the only one in this color brown that was available with another pack I got in black and a few other items, I was told no because it was already discounted as an item on sale, on the black back meaning they were all on sale but I said this one was clearly opened and someone was clearly touching it and there’s no more of this color, they refused and just keeping looking away saying it was fine, I felt like they were acting as if I opened the pack of hair which is embarrassing because I was with my baby on a stroller,I purchased it anyways because I really needed that color with other items, but I will not return here I had planed to get many things for Christmas here for my kids but the feeling was terrible. The last thing I want to feel is that I stole or did something wrong in a store that I was clearly purchasing from. I’m sure if the item was left there it would of not got purchased...
Read moreI visited this store on 4/8/24 i went to the store in the morning to avoid the long lines to make a return. There was one person in line and one register open which i had no problem waiting my turn. The customer was doing a few different transactions. i understand it would take a little longer than usual and i was patient and happy until i saw how the employee was going very slow on purpose. When she finally finished with the customer she turned her back on me and started tagging merchandise! So i gave a look to the other employee who im assuming was some kind of supervisor she told me to bring my return up to the counter and said something to the employee who kept tagging merchandise. In the mean time the supervisor took the person behind me and started ringing them up and im still waiting on the employee! Who when she finally came to help me she was very rude. she demanded i take my old bag from the return. I was planning on shopping at the store but i left because of the way i was treated.
