Came through the drive thru today and ordered my usual thinking there would be no issues. I was so wrong. I’ve always ordered a tall shaken espresso and put it in a grande so I can have extra oat milk since without it it can taste a bit sour at this location for some reason. I’ve never had issues doing this until today, I ordered with “Erick” I believe (at least that’s the name he gave me when I called back to ask) and he completely shut down me even trying to get what I ordered. I could understand if I was trying to get something that would be extra charge for free, but I just asked for my usual 3/4 of the cup full with oat milk. When I tell you this grown man started getting sassy and arguing with me over oat milk, yes you heard right oat milk lol. He then told me he didn’t want to serve me even though I never once raised my voice or use any profanity I was just helping train him how to do his job and I’m guessing he took full offense. When I asked for the manager so I could get further assistance without sass and attitude, he says “I AM THE MANAGER” mkay sis go off. I call back once I leave so I can get his name and report this whole incident considering it was so unprofessional and unnecessary and the same guy answered the phone (I recognize his voice) he then proceeds to tell me that it wasn’t him that I spoke to over the speaker it was the store manager and he’s just the shift manager. I then asked him for the store managers name and he continued to say the store manager owns the store lol. I’m sorry if I’m mistaken but when has a store owner EVER been at their store during rush hour let alone a Saturday mid afternoon. Make it make sense. I’m pretty sure I was given a fake name so if you encounter a tall skinny white guy with light brownish hair, just know he’s serving you sass and attitude with your order if you try to ask him to do his job lol.
SN: I just went to the one on Winthrop Town Centre and they made my drink exactly how I ordered it. 🥰 the bacon egg and cheese bites were also fresh and didn’t taste like they’ve been sitting out for 3 days like this location. Save yourself time, money, and stress and go...
Read moreI waited in the drive thru for over 20 minutes and never got up to order. There were only 3 cars between me and the order sign, yet there was no movement. I was blocked so I could not get out of line. Finally a car moved and I pulled out of line and parked my car. I went inside to order. The place did not look all that busy. I waited to order for several minutes while employees walked past me and never acknowledge me. Finally an employee as for my order. I ask for a Nito blow and was told they did not make it at that store. So why would a store not carry a product that they are advertising nationally. I asked why I had to wait so long in the drive thru and she said they were busy. She did not say anything like I am so sorry for your experience or any thing else that indicated that she gave a flip about the situation. Just "we are busy". She did offer me any other options such as "people who like Nitro Brew often like xyz, would you like to try that" So biased on her lame answers and the fact that the place did not look all that busy (and they appeared to have so much staff that they were running into each other), I decided to take my money elsewhere. I walked across the parking lot and had a great customer experience at a local coffee shop. The coffee costs less, the service was great (even though they truly were busy) and the biscuit was fresh made. When I walked back to my car I saw that car that had been in front of me was just pulling up to order. From now on, given a choice between poor customer service at Starbucks or supporting a local coffee shop, I am going to choose the local shop. Thanks StarBucks for reminding me that bigger is not...

Every time I’ve been here, the team has gone above and beyond. They’re always eager to help craft the perfect drink with a genuine smile. On the rare occasion that a drink isn’t quite what I hoped for, they remake it without hesitation.
Each morning, customers are warmly greeted with a “good morning” or “welcome in.” I’ve never seen a team member in a bad mood, which speaks volumes about their positivity and resilience. Life isn’t perfect for any of us, yet this team consistently brightens the day of everyone who walks in.
I want to give a special mention to Zachary. As someone with social anxiety, stepping out of my routine can feel overwhelming. From the moment I walked in, Zachary’s warm greeting and kind compliment on my outfit instantly boosted my confidence. They were incredibly patient, kind, and thoughtful while helping me choose a new beverage. Zachary asked questions to understand what I was looking for, offered several great suggestions, and stayed engaged in conversation until my drink was ready—making sure I was completely satisfied and even offering to adjust it if needed. That level of care meant a lot to me, and it turned what could have been a stressful experience into a genuinely uplifting one.
Since then, I’ve returned to this location and continue to be met with the same warm welcome. Zachary even remembered me, offering a personal and sincere greeting that made me feel truly valued as a customer.
This store consistently sets a positive tone for my mornings, and I’ll continue coming back because of the exceptional service and genuine kindness of the...
