Affordable place but it does have its downfalls. I would suggest spending the extra money somewhere else for comfort and cleanliness. The rooms, furniture and towels are outdated and worn out. Stains on the lamp shade, mattresses, and carpet. Noticed a couple ants on the bathroom floor the morning after we arrived. I killed those and didn't think much of it since they were just small black piss ants. We went out for a little vacation fun for a couple of hours and came back and there was lots of ants all over the bedside table and carpet (we didn't leave any food or drinks out). I went to the front office to let them know we have ants in our room. The lady at the desk tried to give me flying insect killer. I told her that I would just run to Walmart and buy a can of ant spray and take care of it myself. I didn't think it was necessary to ask for a new room considering others reviews (fearing we would get an even worse room). I ended up spraying the entire room with Raid ant spray along the bottom corners around the entire room and especially around the beds and bedside table. That took care of the ant problem while we were there. The next people that get that room will probably be grateful that I took care of it myself. Breakfast was more like something to just put in your belly, nothing great. So don't expect much. Powdered eggs, runny gravy and don't expect any meat to be on the menu. No bacon, sausage, or ham. Just junk food. Bathroom ceiling had a slacker paint job done to it. They also charged a pet fee of $46 for my wife's service dog without my consent or knowledge claiming that our dog was no longer a service dog because we left him in the room a couple of times (which is absurd) because the temperature was in the high 90s which is obviously not healthy for any animal! We had never experienced this problem at any other hotel we've stayed at. My wife's service dog is for mental health and that is all you need to know! HE IS NOT required to be with her at all times. Maybe the big fat sweaty dude with the big beard in the office should do a little research before claiming a service dog is not a service dog. I guess they like to make up their own rules when it comes to service animals. Gotta make an extra dollar somehow! There's plenty of nicer hotels and resorts around so next time we go to Branson we won't be...
Read moreI recommend this place for many reasons. The staff was friendly and helpful. Whenever I first stay at a place that I have never been to, I'm super skeptical because all I have to go on are pictures and reviews. I was not disappointed. The room, which is a pet friendly room, was quite spacious. I detected no smells from any previous dogs so they must do a good cleaning. (my only complaint was that the bathroom floor along the baseboards could have been scrubbed better). Dogs cost extra per night and this would go to extra cleaning I'm sure. Now, our dog might have smelled something but she didn't complain. The hotel's location was really good being in the center of the strip, most attractions were minutes away. I would say that many things are within walking distance but Branson doesn't seem to care enough for foot traffic to install sidewalks. You have to stumble along on the grass where a sidewalk should be. There were quite a few wandering around so it is done. The room we had was toward the front where outside noises from rides and traffic could be heard. Most of that died down around 9 or 10 when the rides shut down and that means less traffic too. None of that was disturbing and we had fun listening to the blood curdling screams from the rollercoaster and other rides across the street. We were there before peak season and there were many rooms available. Technically, we were on the third floor at the front of the building but the way the terrain slants down, we were at ground level and there were two levels lower at the back. At the very back there are other units that are very far away from the road and rides. I can only assume that those would be super quiet. They said they certainly fill up as summer gets going. The parking lot is very hilly and if you have a clutch, you'd better know how to use it. The included breakfast was scrambled eggs with biscuits & gravy. (definitely tip the assistant serving those up). Also available was one waffle maker, bagels, cold/hot cereal, and other eats. Coffee was actually pretty decent. I can't imagine staying anywhere else for the next time I...
