Placed a mobile order on the Starbucks app and was given the option to pick up my order in store or through the drive thru. When I arrived to pick up my order, the door was locked and I was motioned by a staff member to go through the drive thru. I pulled up to the window and told the older lady standing there that I was here to pick up a mobile order. She said, āwell did you go to the box?ā (Meaning the drive thru speaker) to which I replied, no. She then told me I had to go around through the drive thru even though I was sitting at the window and they had my order sitting on the counter. I started to say āthe mobile app still offers inside..ā before I could complete my sentence the older lady interrupted me with, āthatās a corporate thingā before turning to her manager and complaining loudly about me being āanother one who didnāt go to the boxā. The manager delivered my order a minute later. My issues are this: 1) it should state on the mobile app or somewhere that when placing a mobile order you still have to go through the drive thru. 2) whatās the point of placing a mobile order for pick up when you have to sit through the long drive thru line anyway. 3) Clearly I am not the first customer who had no idea you have to go to the āboxā in order to get your mobile order that youāve already ordered and paid for. Regardless, there was no need for the older lady at the window to be as rude as she was. Completely unprofessional. I wonāt be back to this location due to todayās issue as well as the inconsistency in hours that Iāve experienced...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSadly, businesses treating their customers horribly is the norm now, this Starbucks being no different. Up until this past Friday, I have have ordered from this Starbucks 4-7 times a week for me and my gf. Every single week. The service was never great or friendly and we considered choosing a new location to be our regular but stuck with this store because of convenience. That was a mistake.
Placed my usual mobile order on Friday to pick up at 9:50 on my way to a work meeting. Get there at 9:50 when it says it will be ready. About 10:10 I finally get up to ask the lady making drinks about mine as it is now 20 min late. She rudely informs me that someone else placed a mobile order for 12 drinks and so she still had 6 more to make before mine. I then go sit back down and she randomly comes over and was like do you want to just go get a refund? I was like, no I want my drinks and she again was like āwell youāre going to have to wait for another 6 drinksā to be made first. These people were seriously trying to talk themselves out of work and business.
As all of this is going on, the drive thru and orders in the store are churning through customers left and right while I keep waiting and apparently only the āmobile ladyā can make āmobile ordersā? Anyways, some guy with long hair and an attitude finally brings me my drinks 30 minutes after it said itād be ready. I ask for a refund or discount and explain the situation and that they caused me to be late for a meeting. He just says āthatās how we do thingsā.
Will never order...
Ā Ā Ā Read more3 stars for food because my chai was milkier than I prefer it. I ask for a Chai w/ 4 pumps during visits and it tasted like it had the standard 3.
5 stars for the service because Julien at the window this morning was so lovely. I had an unrelated question about Braselton because Iām passing through and she was nice and quick with her engagement.
4 stars for atmosphere because I had not actually entered the building to give an accurate rating. However, I took a star off because whilst answering my question, Julien was interrupted by a coworker (did not get her name but she was taller and sporting a blonde bun and visor). Based on Julienās response (she just explained that I asked a question) I inferred that she asked about her pace or may have made a comment on her continuing conversation with me. Understandable because I was in the drive through, but the entire interaction was probably no more than 4 minutes. I understand that the time in the drive through is a matter of importance though. The faster and more accurate you are, the better it reflects on you. I just wasnāt feeling the fact that I observed her continue to watch Julien after she explained that it was me who asked her a question and she was just answering.
My food was usual and my chai was okay but it was Julienās personable nature that made me tip, which can be challenging given the...
