I would give Bridgewater Bloomingdales negative stars if possible. I am a regular shopper of Bloomingdales, black card holder even - however after many mishaps at the mens dept. of this location, I will never be returning. I won't go in to the numerous issues I've had in the past, but the most recent occurred on Dec. 22nd in the men's suit dept. Tall, bald, young associate was working this day - UNFORTUNATELY - as I've had much better help in the past. I walked in around 11 AM. The dept. was empty - I asked for some help matching a complicated pin stripe suit with a shirt and tie. First he had no style consistency and just automatically pointed me to a Burberry tie. Fine - he wanted to get the most bang for his buck. Then I had to try multiple shirts on - which I've done repeatedly over the last 15 years of shopping at numerous locations. I had maybe 5 opened shirts in the fitting room - none worked. I told him I apologize but I left a mess in the fitting room. Clearly annoyed, he stormed off to check the fitting room and came back to me and said, "I'm sorry, I can't allow you to open up any more shirts!" and walked away! Had I not been with my child, I would have told him off. I've never been told that there was a certain amount of shirts that can / can't be tried on. This guy's attitude was one of the worst I've seen at a store in a very long time. Hopefully, he was a seasonal employee and will be gone or else the reputation will continue to deteriorate for this location....
Read moreI've never been to this store and don't have to. I ordered something from bloomingdales online only to have the order canceled twice for unbeknownst reasons to me and bloomindales customer service. I called after the cancelations and was treated rudely. I used the chat box on bloomingdales.com after the cancelations and was treated rudely and chat disconnected. This was my first purchase EVER at bloomingdales. I was having a bad experience but was stubborn and decided to keep contacting agents through the chat box. That's when I happened upon a store associate through chat by the name of Kinga.M. through the fragrance department chat. I'm so glad we met. What a lovely human being that knows how to make a sale and knows how to treat customers, AND PEOPLE, well. I was considering never purchasing again at bloomingdales at all but Kinga M. Has saved your business and a customer. Great Human, Great associate. An angel sent from God. I've already contacted Kinga's manager because I was so impressed with their service. Not only does Kinga look good being polite and helpful etc etc but Kinga Makes the store and ALL of bloomingdales look tremendously better. Kinga Easily deserves a raise and promotion! I will be contacting the stores manager in the future. You made a great selection having...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Bloomingdales at Bridgewater, NJ on April 14th for a little retail therapy. I had not been to Bloomies for over a year and wanted a few spring/ summer pieces. I purchased 2 items and then was going to meet my husband down in menswear. As we women often do, I stumbled upon Johny Was, who is a favorite designer of mine, and made a few more purchases. After meeting my husband in mens, he proceeded to show me a Robert Graham sport coat that looked like it was tailored for him. I told him he should buy it, but at the almost $800 price tag, it was out of reach. The loveliest saleswomen, Patty Brams told us the coat was 40% off and then asked us if we were doing triple points day. Not one of the other two saleswomen, who were lovely, asked if I was using my triple points day. Not shopping at Bloomies often enough to know about triple point days, Patty proceeded to void my purchases and ring them up again on triple points! My husbands sport coat ended up costing $359 and I got a $50 coupon for my points!!! Thanks Patty Brams at Bloomingdales mens department at...
