The Container Store — Local services in Bridgewater Township

I visited the store 7/3/20 @12:56 PM. The store was nice but their was no customer service to rave about. An associate had caught my eye as I was about to signal for her assistance, but she simply and hurriedly passed me by. I watched her as she walked away thinking that perhaps she was focused on assisting another valued customer. But, much to my dismay, she simply entered the cashier area, leaned against the counter and began twiddling her fingers, as she looked back towards my direction. The sales associate at the register did not present as though he valued me as a customer with the salutory greeting, welcome to the Container Store. No, instead he sort of motioned with his head " Next". Once he finished ringing my merchandise, with my receipt in hand, I was forced to wait until he finished speaking with an associate on a matter that had nothing to do with my purchase. To add insult to injury, he looked at my receipt and exclaimed "Oh". I do not know his name, but he was tall and wore what appeared to be...

I decided to check this store out when it first opened since I knew it was similar to the bed bath store. I had a birthday coupon for 15% off and the lady told me I could come back and use it on anything in the store on sale or regular price. I came back LDW and tried to use it and the women told me she can’t honor it. She checked with the manager and he said no as well. It’s unfortunate that your workers would tell me one thing and it’s different when I come into the store another time. Needless to say, I’ll be returning my items and shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond. They let you use a coupon when the item is on sale...

Loyal customer of this store for 5+ years. Called today to ask a simple question and MARK gave me so much attitude. After speaking with the manager he confirmed that the miscommunication was the store’s fault, but Mark had such an attitude that I’m beyond turned off with this store. (He asked me not to bite his head off after asking about the status of my pick up order that I never received a notice about)
