Zumiez — Local services in Bridgewater Township

Zumiez Bridgewater is the best place to start when you are buying your first skateboard.

My name is Jennifer Loughran, I run the only skateboarding program in the area. Typically, I support "local shops" but we don't have any in our town. So for me to support and trust a corporate skate company is a VERY big deal.

Why? First, I have learned how much Zumiez does for local communities through the Zumiez Foundation. Second, I have come to trust and respect the staff at the Bridgewater Zumiez because they always do right by every customer I have ever sent them.

Jeff, the manager is the nicest guy who always goes out of his way to make every interaction at the store an "experience". This is so important for new skaters and their parents when buying their first skateboard. To know that their money and time is well spent is my everything.

Recently, we hosted the very FIRST skateboarding event in our town. Michael, another Zumiez employee, came to the event. He was so cool, cheered everybody on. He is such a great representation of skateboarding. He brought a deck for our 12 and under competition and presented it to the winner... it was a very big deal for Quinton, the winner, who overcame so much and worked so hard over the past year.

I'm so grateful to them both and to the district manager who helped me out when I first launched our program.. Thank you to everybody at the Bridgewater Zumiez for their commitment to what makes skateboarding awesome and for everything you have done to support us and the local...

I went in tonight to get boards for my kids who just picked up skateboarding. They’re young and I know nothing about skateboards, so I was a little overwhelmed. Jeff was amazing. He explained everything to me, and was very patient when my kids changed their minds 3 times before committing to their boards. Deandrew (not sure if I’m spelling this right) built the boards for us and he was great, too. While he worked he shared some of his own skateboarding stories with my kids, and told them how to care for their new boards.

It’s so easy to shop online these days, but Jeff and DAndrew are the kind of sales associates that make it worth going...

Let me begin this review by stating that the staff working yesterday afternoon, Saturday 9/27/25, went above and beyond to accommodate my son and I. My son had a poor experience around December of 2024 with this location. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised by the new general manager, I believe her name was Emily or Emma, and she made sure to explain all of the promos and deals the store had to offer. The young woman who rung me out was also extremely friendly, and talkative. I will definitely continue to spend my money here, and this was hands down the best experience I have had in...
