Terrible dealer, I will never set foot in, do business with, or recommend anyone to the Young Ford of Brigham City again. With that being said let me give you a little history of my interactions with this dealership. I have been doing business with this particular dealership in one form or another since the late 70’s when it was Anderson Ford, Welch Ford, McFarland Ford and most recently Young Ford. This business included buying parts, getting service, buying tires, referring customers, and buying vehicles. As recently as last year we bought a new 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands edition which we are very happy with. This however leads me to the final straw regarding this business. Having purchased a set of tires for my 2014 Super Duty from this dealership prior to Young Acquiring the dealership I was told they would still service them for me. This included balancing and rotating as well as fixing flats for us. This brings me to the root of this complaint and the reason I will never return or recommend this dealership to anyone. On August 23rd of this year, I was finally able to get the vehicle in after trying to reach Skyler Nelson, the Service Manager, for nearly a week to schedule an appointment. Upon my arrival I was met by one of your service writers and explained to them exactly that I wanted a tire balance and rotation. Pretty straight forward but here is where the issues begin. Now please keep in mind this dealership has worked on and rotated the tires on this vehicle prior to this with no issues at all. After pulling my vehicle into the service bay all seems well. I’m looking through the window and then walk around to the back door, as it seems to be taking them an extremely long time to perform this simple balance and rotate. I was told that they supposedly needed to remove the heat shield on the gas tank to jack the vehicle up, this has never been an issue before as I said they have performed this service prior. I instruct them to just leave the tires alone as it has already been almost an hour with no progress and just balance the tire. They do manage to kind of balance the one tire (Please note that I had to take the vehicle to another tire shop to have it balanced correctly) The other issue I have and this is the real one on top of the inability to perform a simple rotation and balance is when they performed their little inspection check list. The tech proceeded to disassemble my entire fresh air intake to check the air filter, totally unnecessary to do as it is very simple. When I got it out of the shop I checked it, and they had left the clips undone for the air cleaner as well. Upon seeing this I proceeded to message Skyler Nelson, who knows how particular I am regarding maintenance to my vehicles and how I keep up on it. Upon notifying him, via text, I was met with the following response, and I quote “ You’ve never made a simple mistake? Feel free to never come back then. Jason will continue to take care of you. You have bitched about every single visit you have ever made its clear we cannot do anything right; wont hurt my feelings. Have a nice day”. This was the reply after they wasted 2 plus hours and still did not even perform the job correctly. The bottom line is this is a Ford Dealership and the people performing these simple tasks should be fully trained and competent, which they are obviously not and to have a Service Manager make that statement to a long time loyal customer is absolutely unacceptable.. If this is your business model and you are accepting of this kind of behavior from a so called Manager then it is pretty poor, and I will never come back in or recommend...
Read moreWe recently bought a car from this dealership and everyone there was nice and caring. Not necessarily pushy but could definitely tell they wanted to make the sell. That is the only good thing I have to say about this place... We traded in my 2008 Toyota yaris towards the purchase of my wife's new car and they only offered me 750 for my car.... stating since the tires were weather cracked and the drivers front headlight had moisture that those would fail state safety inspection and would have to be replaced before they could sell it. I've been in the automotive business for almost a decade prior and was a state safety inspector in Davis county. These things do not fail state safety inspections. The salesman then back tracked to say that they are a dealership and people who come to buy from a dealership expect a higher standard.... they couldn't sell my car with the problems listed above and that's not to mention the numerous cosmetic things that need to be fixed. So 750 was the best that they could do. I asked for atleast 1000 because I know I could sell it for 2500 privately. He offered to give the keys back and said to sell it privately so I could get the most out of it I can. I just looked today and they have it posted for sale, none of the cosmetic issues have been fixed that I can see, maybe the rusted dent on the passenger side, still missing a hubcap and the drivers headlight is still the same one that was a "safety issue", didnt even boyher vacuuming it out or dusting it before posting pictures.and the cherry on top? They have it listed for 11 times what i got as a trade in...Are you kidding me? I thought there were standards to live up to... especially if you are going to charge WAY over what the car is actually worth without your bogus standards...Typical dealership behavior... definitely won't be recommending people buy from this place ever. Even with their "referral incentive program"... you better believe I'll be checking to see that they actually change the oil as per the free maintenance that we got with the purchase of our new vehicle and thats the only thing they will touch on this car... then when that is done I'll be taking my business to a responsible trustworthy buisness... be warned
edited dropped from a 3 star to a one star... went up this weekend to have a remote start installed and was curious about my car that I traded in. They litteraly fixed nothing... never replaced a headlight or the tires that were a "safety concern" and are selling the car as is... should have went to Hansen motors...
Read moreThe service was absolutely terrible. It’s pretty sad when Ford can’t fix their own vehicles. I took it in for a possible draw. They ran their tests and couldn’t find anything pulling power from the battery. Said my battery and alternator were good and they didn’t know what the problem was… said to bring it in again if it persisted. Well my truck of course kept on dying. I called them again to get an appointment as the technician advised. Called multiple times over a matter of a month and no one would answer the phone calls or voicemails I left, including the manager. My wife worked their previously, so she gave me the bosses number and finally SOMEONE answered. I got an appointment. They took my truck in on a Tuesday and I didn’t hear anything from them until I decided to call them on Saturday before they closed. Took forever for someone to answer. Finally an advisor picked up the phone and said they still hadn’t found anything… said that they were “chasing a ghost” with it. I asked if they had any ideas and the guy told me that the truck was turning on by itself at night… didn’t know they did that without keys. Come Monday they called ME… wow that’s a big deal. Said that now all of a sudden they ran more of the same tests and came to a conclusion that my battery is bad. Hmmm… interesting. Now it’s just bad even though it’s had TWO appointments with them and a whole week with them and now all of a sudden it’s bad. I tell them that I can come pick it up at 5:00 pm and I get there and they told me it wouldn’t be ready until 6:00 pm… really??? I come back and then they apologized for the inconvenience. Literally the least they could do. I asked the guy why I was getting charged this time for the same things they did during the first appointment. His answer was, “I felt bad for charging you the first time.” I continued on telling him how weird it was that all of a sudden my battery was bad. As I said that, an ADVISOR walks past and says that’s what Fords do and continues to walk on by to his office to do nothing at. They then redirected me to someone else to pay for it so they didn’t have to deal with me. The ladies shift was up but they didn’t care even though she was on her way out. So the moral of the story is that young Ford Brigham city is absolutely unprofessional as can be and really don’t care about it. Save your money by going somewhere else. You probably have a better chance. I’m not a person to do this but my goodness my patience is...
