Changing my review due to the downward spiral this place has gone through the last few years. Tonight was the worst dining experience I have had in years. We went in to have dinner. Our server did an ok job, but was clearly overwhelmed by a big group he was also taking care of. My wife’s salmon was very overcooked. One side completely black. She let the server know right away. He forgot my fries and my kids waited for him to get refills for his big table before they got their refills. My youngest child started acting like she was going to have a seizure so my wife took her to our van. My son and I waited around 15 minutes and no one came and asked if we needed anything. The manager, Heidi, walked by our table and asked every other table if they needed anything. our server finally came back and said they would remake my wife’s salmon. I told him my daughter is having a medical incident and we didn’t have time to wait for it now. I asked him for the check. I paid, but no offer to take the salmon off the check. I saw Heidi and asked to speak to her for a moment and she acted very put off by having to talk to me. When I told her about the salmon she asked to see it. Our server had already taken our plates. Our server confirmed that it was burned. Heidi came back with two $5 wingback cards and I turned them down. She then said, “Well I tried to make it right,” gave me a dirty look and asked, “what do you want me to do?” I replied with, “just go, we won’t be back.” I have never not given a tip until tonight. I don’t know why restaurants feel like free food is a solution. They should have made it right, they had about a half hour from when they were told the salmon was burned until they came back offering to remake it. The service was excusable with a proper apology, but that wasn’t offered either. Basically we were given bad service and paid for a meal we didn’t receive. My original review was 5 star, but service has progressively gotten worse until it came to head tonight. I love Wingers food, but in the future I will go to a...
Read moreThis was the worst dining experience we’ve had in a long time. We came late afternoon on New Years Eve after checking into a nearby hotel. I hadn’t been to a Wingers in years, but thought it sounded good. We were singing the praises of our memories of asphalt pie and sticky fingers. No one came to the front to greet us for a good 5 minutes even though it wasn’t busy and waitresses at a nearby drink station had noticed us. The manager finally came to seat us and said he’d “go find some silverware” and never came back. We had a hungry toddler with us, so watching the three or four tables seated after us get served drinks and popcorn was especially frustrating. I was on my phone looking for another place to go when my husband finally flagged down a server. She said she’d go get us silverware and then came back and said no one had been assigned our table. There was no apology but she took our drink order, so we decided to stay because the kids were hungry. The food was missing components that were stated on the menu (did they run out?) like no rice noodles on the rice bowl with hardly any chicken or rice...it was essentially a bowl of steamed carrots. No green onions or toast and 4 pieces of shrimp on my pasta. We had to ask if we could get asphalt pie at the end because she just handed us the bill. The piece was so tiny we let the older kids share it. The food was very overpriced for what it was. The waitress never cleared our empty dishes and then waited around for us to get out a credit card when she brought the bill. When we walked out, I noticed a drive up take-out window, which must be their main focus - that’s where all the activity inside was happening. It made me angry the patrons in the actual restaurant didn’t seem to matter as much. I initially wrote to Wingers to let them know what’s going on at this location, but have yet to hear back nearly two weeks later. Do yourself a favor and go to Peach City or...
Read moreSpent over 15 minutes waiting to be seated. Only to be FORGOTTEN! Spent another 30 minutes wondering if anyone was going to take our order or not. We were a table of 3..so not big at all. The restaurant was dead as far as people eating, but the staff were all over the place and seemed to be getting NOTHING done. The host bussed 1 table for that entire 30 minutes we waited so that was a JOKE to watch. When we finally got a servers attention they had NO idea who was supposed to be helping us. We saw 2 other small tables be sat and helped with orders before we even got helped. Overall the food came out fast after our order was taken...almost just thrown together SLOPPY like. Not what we expected for the price or time we spent there overall. They need better training..like no one seemed to care that we were there even after we made ourselves known. It's Brigham on a Sunday night so not many options for food...we remained very polite the entire time...and am just taken back by the lack of service and functionality of the restaurant overall. When we were finished eating we had to wait another 15 minutes to get our check..had to finally ask for our check to get it ..and the server just stood there waiting to get us cashed out...very weird and the wrong type of feeling. Like now you have time to spend a moment with me?? What about asking how my food taste or if I need anything else? We are still good people who tipped the woman 15% of our bill even if she didn't really deserve it.
Side note the staff were chilling outside the back door when we left all smoking cigarettes or what have you..maybe that's where they were when we were supposed to be getting helped??
Would NOT recommend this location. 100% DISAPPOINTED and will NOT return. HOPEFULLY this reaches someone as in a Manager and some training...
