Dutch Bros Coffee Throws the BEST Parties – A DJ's Perspective

We've DJ'ed a lot of events, but the New Year's party I played for Dutch Bros Coffee was one for the books! This company knows how to take care of their employees and how to show everyone a great time.

The Energy: The Dutch Bros team was SO pumped for the party. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it made it easy to keep the dance floor packed all night.

The Drinks: Obviously, the coffee and energy drinks were flowing! Even as the DJ, they made sure I stayed fueled up with my favorite drinks, which was such a nice touch.

The People: Everyone I interacted with, from the baristas to the managers, was friendly and welcoming. It's clear Dutch Bros has a fantastic company culture.

I have been going to Dutch Bros for almost 25 years! The Brigham City store is the absolute slowest store I have ever been to. I have given them multiple chances to redeem themselves and out of 8 visits there was only one time that was fast, two times that I could barely stay the other 5 times I left. Never again!! They make the drinks at a snails pace, and talk to all their friends in the cars ahead for 5 minutes, no joke, and don’t care to send people out to get orders. I will never try them again! Being nice is what DB is known for but talking to friends and family for 5-10 minutes while not one order is taken is ridiculous and not DB. In Arizona the lines will be ten-fifteen cars long and you still only wait 20 minutes, maybe! Sometimes less. I like the drinks, but I dread going through the drive through unless I have a ton of time because it takes forever and their process doesn't make a lot of sense. Slowest service imaginable. Why can't I just order through an intercom? Why aren't there two people taking orders? Why is my drink still not ready when I am FINALLY at the window?? And why are cars behind me getting their order first?
