The worst dining experience I ever had was ultimately because of the customer service. The store was a little messy, but I assumed they were busy earlier and hadn’t gotten around to cleaning up. More importantly, the employee, Summer, who took my order and made my sandwich, was so blatantly disrespectful. I heard her talking badly about a previous customer, and when I finally got her attention, she seemed irritated that I was even there.
I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I mean, I’ve worked in customer service before; I know it can be irritating. So even though she should never show that in front of customers, it didn’t bother me all that much at first. But then, when I asked a few questions, she looked at me like I was the most idiotic person she’d ever seen. When she finally answered, her replies were short, rude, and mostly unhelpful.
After I decided on my sandwich. She claimed she couldn’t hear me and almost yelled at me to speak up?? Then, to my surprise, she started putting together a sandwich with stuff I specifically wanted off. When I told her about it, she seemed so annoyed, and I felt self-conscious. People were waiting in line, and she said something like I was making a fuss when I could just take it off myself.
I understand that everyone makes mistakes, and I don’t have a great memory myself, but that’s no excuse for her behavior. I don’t expect fine dining service at Subway, but I do expect basic respect and professionalism. Summer made the entire experience uncomfortable, and I left regretting that I had even stopped in.
I won’t be returning as long as employees like her are...
Read moreWe went through the drive thru and the girl took about 2 minutes to acknowledge us. As we were ordering she kept having to be corrected about our order and she took a bit longer to respond. Whatever. We went to the window and no joke waited for over 10 minutes. We got our sandwiches as she was laughing and talking with her buddies. She was so busy laughing that she forgot our drinks and we had to practically shout at her before she closed the window. As we were driving we checked the sandwiches and one of them was wrong. On our way back to the Subway drive thru we noticed she didn't give us a receipt. But they weren't busy at all. There was one other car in the parking lot. She took half as long to notice us at the drive thru this time but then she left us there after she greeted us for a quite a while. She was nice and said she'd fix it. We get up to the window and the sandwich took another 10 minutes to make. We got our sandwich and we left. Then I noticed there wasn't cheese on the sandwich she'd just "fixed." No way...
Read moreHaha I totally forgot about going here until Google popped up & wanted me to review it. However, I definitely remember it now. It had a broken door which wasn't bad. It was actually funny watching my sister use it! Now the food. The food couldn't have been better!! I was so tired, hungry & traveling home when the sign for subway showed up on the side of the highway so we went. Keep in mind I'm kinda out of it because of how tired I am & yet I made it in passed the broken door and they were able to comprehend my order. We joked back and forth. Then they give me my sub on "display" in this green basket. Best presentation ever!! Thanks to the two guys that were...
