If I could give negative reviews I would.
We had a phone on our account that just completely died while on the charger overnight so we had no choice but to go in and pick up a phone. First, the new iPhone was released and there was only person working, which made it a circus from the get go, but we had no choice because we needed a phone. We didn't care about the newest phone release and if we had a choice in the matter, definitely wouldn't have waited or would have called in or ordered online.
When it finally got around to getting the phone, things seemed fine. Until I got my bill. The lying girl who helped us did not tell us she was changing our plan. We had a grandfathered plan. She totally screwed us on our bill, and a phone fee that a monthly payment on would have been around $26 a month, now made our bill go up by almost $60 a month before taxes because she changed our plan WITHOUT OUR CONSENT. We were under the impression of paying a certain amount for the phone, trading the old one in, and nothing else on our account would be changing. That's exactly how she presented it. And we got absolutely none of that. Is this how you treat customers who have been with you for almost 30 years Verizon? Then, after waiting HOURS and after looking at my bill, we finally looked at the receipt. There's a charge on there of $39.99 for a set up and go fee, which I understand is for having her help with the phone. The damn audacity after waiting HOURS AND HOURS and the full blown out LIES then she had the balls to charge another $40 for her "helping" us? Wow. Just wow.
I would avoid this place at all cost. They clearly do not value customers and only go for the sale. I'm sure she got a kick back for...
Read moreUnless you are dealing with the manager Kaylee do not go. The guy that works there sold us 2 brand new phones yesterday. He was nice to us until we declined two “free tablets” and told him we didn’t Want them. He then got annoyed and told the manger he has to start the whole process over because we didn’t want them. When we never told him to add them in the first place, just wanted to know it the price. He obviously made plenty of commission of us since we bought brand new phones. I told him we already have the chargers, screen protectors, and cases. My husband left the store and Hayden (the employee) started grabbing screen protectors, (two different kinds) chargers, & cleaning kits. He scanned them all in without informing me and when I told him we don’t want screen protectors because we still have them he threw it on the table and said “okay fine” after he kept trying to sell them over and over to us, telling me they are “basically free” yet they were 50$ a piece…? then tried to sell me a different type of screen protector I told him now and he threw them down to, and so one with the cleaning kits and the chargers. I was talking with my husband at the end about the phone line and he rudely interrupted and asked for our email so we can get our receipt and leave the store. It was very childish behavior to me and a very pushy sales man. He was great when his boss was in the store but the second she left he totally changed. I’ve never left a bad review somewhere but it just didn’t sit right with me. We will only be working with Kaylee from now on. Please let her have your commission not Hayden. She...
Read moreStay as far from this store as possible!! My family and I started service with Verizon in late July. Was told of very specific promotions and what everything would cost. All details were written down as explained to us. Waited a week for phones to arrive at which time we were told that we didn't qualify for the promotion and we would no longer be getting the promotion that was discussed with us in the beginning. Supposedly the promotion ended 2 days BEFORE we were told we qualified for this same promotion. Since the end of July its been lie after lie after lie after lie and passing the buck left and right.
It's been an absolute joke! On and off the phone, EVERY SINGLE part of the promotion that we were told we qualified for has not been fulfilled. It is VERY apparent that we were lied to from the very beginning to get us locked in.
Also, they gave us the run around for nearly two weeks until our return window had passed. When we did talk to them about returning the phones and cancelling the whole deal they wanted to collect a restocking fee of $35 per device AND Makala wanted to charge us $50 for each screen saver she put on our phones claiming they were "free" when we were signing up.
Absolutely TERRIBLE place to do business. If I were joining Verizon again it would be worth it to drive anywhere but here. Its not worth the hassle. On and off the phone, constantly being lied to since the end of July. Again, stay far, FAR...
