My family and I came into The Southern Churn to get ice cream. The two staff members working were very helpful and friendly. The ice cream is really good although we felt it is overpriced for the serving size. We also purchased fudge which is good quality and was priced on a sign but later found out it is priced by weight, which we didn’t know at first, so it ended up costing more then what the sign advertised. What we were most unhappy about was that the staff charged us a card fee to pay with a card. We were not informed of this at all at time of payment and saw it on the receipt and had to ask about it. If I would have known this, I would not have paid with a card and I feel like it’s unacceptable to be charged this fee without being notified first. Our purchase was for a large amount and a store like this with premium prices, in the US should not be charging a card fee at all in the...

I am sorry for coming in and asking for 3 peanut butter milkshakes. I should have known better than to assume a business would have the same flavors for more than a week. Y'all must be slammed with this rainy weather, and ran out. I definitely should have known by the young brown haired girls attitude when I walked in, that I was being annoying. I definitely deserved to be treated like I was the problem. There's no way working at a candy shop could be a great job. I'm glad she was able to let out some of her personal problems on me. I 100% overstep some boundaries when I asked for a drink carrier. Hopefully these 5 stars help make y'all's day a...

There is a sign advertising fudge for $16.99 for a pound and a half, which they inform you is six pre-cut squares. My friend and I each got a pound and a half and were each charged $25.50. We were each given different reasons (by the same person) for this price. She was told $16.99 was if all squares were the same flavor, even though the sign says that you can get up to six varieties for that price. I was told it was the weight of my squares “and the weight of the box”. This felt really dishonest and I would not return. I wish they were more transparent in their pricing and honored their advertised price. Really...

Fudgery/ Candy shop / ice cream store. Cute shop with places you can sit in the window to eat. Fudge was heavenly and packed perfectly, they included a little plastic knife! Penuche praline and turtle= 5⭐. On a different trip we had the ice cream (1 scoop lemon and 1 scoop blueberry! So good.) This was the first time we have been in downtown Bristol, the parking was easy to find and the area is beautiful. Recommend - if they had more of a variety of homemade candies that would be fun. Most of the candy in barrels and on the walls was not interesting to me, besides the taffy.

This is a fabulous ice cream and fudge shop. The flavors cover a wide assortment, and they have seasonal flavors that rotate. Everything tastes like they are homemade and from scratch, and you couldn't ask for better prices for the top quality offerings. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating, offering samples to help you decide. I ended up getting their 6 scooper, which was under 10 dollars. The environment is family friendly, and there are a ton of cool toys and other types of candy and knick knacks you can take to go on the road. 5 Stars 🌟 Rating
