Worst service I've ever gotten. Gentleman completely ignored me while I was yelling "excuse me". I'm assuming he didn't want to stop the personal conversation he was having. I would have thought he didn't hear except another employee about 20 feet behind him came to help me. Ironically as soon as he was done helping another customer walked nearby and all I could hear was "hi, how are you? Is there something I can help you with?" I hate to pull the race card but I can't think of any other reason I was completely ignored. Then I got to the register and the cashier was on his phone the entire time. Never asked if I found everything or said thank you or have an ice day. He never even made eye contact. I work hard for my money and I guarantee they won't see anymore of my money. Went to Otto's earlier tonight to look for Bell’s Hopslam Ale. I had read about this brew a while back on reddit and people were raving about it. I knew it might be tough to get. I checked the coolers and shelves a few times. Finally I went up to the counter and showed the lovely cashier a picture of a 6 pack on my phone and asked if they had it. She said they did – but it sold out in about a month. Then the gentleman behind the counter said “Maybe I saw one in the back”. That never happens – I’ve worked enough retail. BUT IT WAS TRUE! Having a knowledgeable staff really helped. We like to pick up spirits here but we also like to pick up unusual things when we travel.
