I have NEVER done this before. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE given anyone or anywhere a bad review because life is life and it isn’t always smooth sailing. I have had Zito media for AT LEAST 15 years. I took over paying the bills for my mother as she is 91 and it’s time for her to just relax. In August of 2025, I set up ALL the bills that were the same price each month for auto pay. So I cruise along until Thursday November 6 and it’s not working. I’m in no way bothered because we live in the mountains and stuff just happens right? Friday night I call and the man would NOT let me talk much less listen to me until I paid the past due. Understandable. Then that seeet spot riiiiiiiiight there is where I start to get miffed after it clears, he says is there anything else I can do for you today Ms Treadway. He hadn’t listened to a word I said. Still no tv. Friday I call. Saturday. I call. Sunday I. Call. Monday I get a woman and she at least listened to me, and filled out the wrong ticket. Today I call and ask when I might be expecting the tech and she (different she) explains that it’s going to be tomorrow morning. So tell me. People that live here in WNC what do I do?!? Nobody at Zito media 1. Cares that we have had this account for I said 15 years earlier but I think it’s been longer than that and 2. Still expected to pay for every bit of this that in no way was MY FAULT. I. AM. PISSED. I got everyone’s name and I’ve left off details for the sake of not writing a book about this crap. This isn’t a regular oops. This is going on 6 days of talking to 6 different people and not a damn soul is fixing my tv. I literally can do NOTHING technologically at my house at the moment. I’m too mad to even leave any more of a review. If you’re moving here don’t get this WiFi. Period.
Don't even bother with Zito Media internet, they will constantly explain to you how there is an "outage in your area" & "a team has been working in the issue" yet can never give a time frame on when you will be restored service. It is in & out service NEVER EVER constant. How this company isn't bankrupt hopefully someone buys them out and switched out the obvious out of date Lines they have run through out thos town where they tell you a squirrel is to blame for 200 homes out of service ALL THE TIME. Tons of questions with No answers. Even the techs themselves don't even understand technology like installing a modem (the advanced settings like custom passwords and setting limit on users) I know what your thinking they are the only Internet available to you so you don't have a choice.... Not true do your research and look into StarLink you will not be disappointed might pay little more but Quality with constantly having over 200mb is worth the extra. Zito Media is terrible internet service and should really re invest their money into the business than taking profits leaving the customer with below average service and empty promises. Think I'm lying go ahead get the service and enjoy for a week maybe two than welcome to the frustration of never being able to complete your work or loosing it due to dropped service. Local here...
   Read moreI have stayed on hold for 10 minutes. Since i am not a new customer then the lower rates you see on the website are not for me. Told I needed to go to retention department. Well I stayed on hold for Abt 20 minutes and a damn recording comes on asking me to hang up and call another time. Bull shit company as far as for me. Couldn't qualify for a lower class than they are. Do not understand how they remain in business. Most undesirable company in our community, but we are captured and they know it. When something better comes this way, good luck Zito as you will fold. They are just in communties that have no choices.
I have to come back and lick my wounds. Thru the hurricane Helena and all the aftermath and weeks past, Zito Media has not flickered. My internet has not failed one time that I have been home during this crisis. In the past we have had some bad experiences with reliability but thru this time period our internet has worked and our phones go thru this as well. We have been blessed. Thanks Zito for getting the bugs worked out...
