I do not like this school. I attended online and still struggled because of the schools miscommunication. Several times there was a misunderstanding with me AND my friend!!! No one says anything until it’s too late. And they act like they don’t know what happened and pretend they’re sorry. When I first attended, I was under the assumption that I was in the associates degree program but it turns out it was just a freaking diploma!!! Even after they said yes it was a degreeeeeee!!!! Just makes me angry ! And that affected my job and my income ! U ask them questions and they lie! They tell half truths!!! Playing games with my life ! I got a job I was gonna be a teacher I thought I had a degree but when I got it, it was a diploma and that’s basically useless!!!! Paid all this money and in debt for jack squat !!!!
Then I went back cus they said I’d be finished at an early date but then when the date came…guess what??? I WASNT DONE THERE WAS MORE CLASSES THAT NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT!!!!! AND THEY TOLD ME ONE MONTH NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS BEFORE CLASSES EERE DONE !!!!!! none of these classes were on the financial plan they showed me. I had the date and I asked the lady if that’s the date I’d be done she said YES!!!! so I went through!!! The only thing I’d say on my part is that I COULDVE done a better job looking into what I needed to get done. I only didn’t do it cus I TRUSTED them. No other school I’ve attended did this to me cus they made sure I was gonna do what they signed me up to do!!! I’ll never recommend this school to anyone unless they like to struggle and get lied to like a buffoon !!! So many times I thought I was done and they tricked me and lied saying I had more !!!!!!! Evil !!!!!! Just evil !!!
If you do attend, make sure u keep track of EVERYTHING!!! Everything u sign up for u keep it and print it out make sure u look up all your classes that you need and make sure u understand everything because they will lie to you like they did me ! Cross reference EVERYTHING emails and all!! When u call them ask them for names and write down as much information as you can!!! Ask for the information in writing !!! I’m telling you!!! me and my friend went through this back to back for two years plus!!! Don’t...
Read moreI attended Bryant an Stratton buffalo NY online classes and overall, I liked the program. I obtained my associate degree in human and social services. I maintained a 4.0 the entire time and graduated with honors December 2023. What I disliked: The initial rep that I spoke with before attending. He basically lied about a lot of stuff. He made it sound like this was the perfect program for me, and now I'm unsure if I have enough to get my CDCA license in Ohio. After starting, there wasn't one advisor that could answer my questions regarding licensure. I was given the run around about it. You do not get one specific advisor, they constantly change. Out of all my teachers I had, I would say only 3 were excellent teachers. The rest were just subpar, and four were atrocious. I also disliked BSC online because they did not have anything like clubs or extra activities. You had zero way to really connect with anyone. What I liked: How their online courses were setup. That's about it. I feel ripped off and I will end up paying the loans for years to come. I am at SNHU now and the tuition is a fraction of what Bryant an Stratton cost. SNHU is $2000 a semester and BSC is $9000. The books at BSC are insanely prices, most being around $300-400 bucks. SNHU has digital copies that I paid $63 for both books. The differences are extremely to say the least. If your contemplating attending college then my advice is talk to more than one school, look at your reviews, and talk to students if possible. Good luck everyone. Oh, and I'm sorry, but who needs four resume and interview classes. That is half of what I learned there. SNHU has elective classes you can choose, like art or creative writing. If I had to start all over knowing what I know, I would start and finish at...
Read moreIf I could put no stars I would. Okay so I was doing pretty well in the college at first all A's and B's everything was going great! Until I ended up having to help out with rent so I had to get a job, and being a mother also I am one of the few who would NOT want to put that much stress (job, kids, and school) on myself. So I call them and tell tell whoever (if only I remembered her name) my situation and how I won't be able to attend anymore, and she ends up asking me all these questions like why am I withdrawing and questions that shouldn't really be asked because she didn't even say it's policy or anything, she just wanted to know. So I tell her I'm starting my new job soon and she asked me the one question that just actually made me done with her, she asked, "Are you sure you're not able to do all 3?" as in all 3 she means taking care of my child, going to work, and going to school. Let that sink in. It actually made me even more frustrated because she was telling me that if I did now it would cost a lot to pay back, but listen if I have to withdraw I have to. There's no 'Are you sure you want to?' So they said they'd call and tell me the rest of the details so we can get through with the withdrawal process and I haven't gotten a call yet but what I did get was an attendance email from Outlook telling me that I won't be able for eligibility for my financial aid if I miss 14 days. Wow. So, I'm going to call them now because this is ridiculous and I do not have time. But if you do go to this school, please be careful. i know that other people will have a better experience or whatever. But this is not...
