I recently purchased a gift for my wife. I parted from them and received a perfectly acceptable "happy holidays".

I , however, do not purchase James Avery products to be greeted with a politically correct and rather sterile "happy holidays."

Presuming the Innocence of the person checking me out I responded " Merry Christmas". On my way out I got several more "happy holidays" from people who might have meant well.

I responded, " merry Christmas" again to which one of the more shrewish attendants responded "same to you, sir".

Without being there the average person cannot appreciate the nuance of facial expressions. But it is quite obvious that James Avery no longer wishes to court the business of those that adhere to Western Christian ideals.

The truth is that all of history hinges on the birth, life, death and Resurrection of one man. To deny it is dishonest. Without that ministry the world would be a truly awful place.

So I say again,...

From the time I walked into the store, I felt welcome! I was approached by an employee as I walked in, and told her what I was looking for, and she escorted me toward the area I'd be looking at. There was a very nice selection with a good selection of options. The most fun we had was finding the correct ring size. The testor got stuck on my finger. It was all good, though. I was able to decide on a great design, which I felt was just what I was looking for.

Bonus at checkout was a military discount; I wasn't expecting that.

Returning to this shop for future gifts is a great possibility. ...

I stopped in today to get a charm added to my bracelet and purchase a new charm as well. The entire team there was so nice, but Anna just made my entire day. She was the sweetest and most helpful person, she took time to help me get my bracelet to fit properly and easy to clasp myself. We connected over my cancer ribbon charm and she was so genuine and compassionate and offered such encouragement. I left so happy and just moved by her kindness. We need more Anna’s in the world.
