Walmart Pharmacy — Local services in Bulverde

I've been using this Walmart Pharmacy since mid 2017, when I retired to Canyon Lake. I've used the Walmart Pharmacies in New Braunfels & South Austin from 1999-2017, I've always had AMAZING service at them as well. Of all the ones I've used, this is by far my FAVORITE. The PHARMACISTS ALEX & TERRY are beyond amazing. They always go the extra mile to ensure accuracy, that I understand my meds & that I'm completely satisfied. ALL the staff there are AMAZING PEOPLE!! They display the utmost professionalism, compassion, respect and kindness to their customers. They're what I call "COUNTRY FRIENDLY", which is the top drawer of compliments, especially from a southern gal. They ALL know me, remember who I am when I call with a question and best yet, ALWAYS CALL ME BY MY NAME as I walk up to the counter. If they can't answer my question, they ALWAYS research it, make calls if necessary and CALL ME BACK with the answers. I went this week to get my meds as well as my flu & pneumococcal vaccine. I was in & out in 10 minutes tops. The staff & service there is AMAZINGLY AWESOME, ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! They make a dreaded visit for most, an AMAZING WONDERFUL visit for me!! To me they're ALL...

Until recently I have been satisfied with this pharmacy. Recently, they have required me to wait on the pharmacist to do a "consultation" even for refills that I have taken for YEARS. This is a waste of my time and theirs. Today I had to wait for the pharmacist to do two injections while I am in pain from an injury. When I asked why I had to wait I was rudely told "it's the law!" Really? After years of it apparently not being? BS! IF it indeed now something new and required, this pharmacy clearly needs more...

Went by today and got flu shots. My son has an issue with needles. But we knew he was starting to come out of it. So we decided to go to the pharmacy and get the flu shot. The pharmacist was amazing! He was very patient and had a great way of putting everyone at ease. He said it didn’t even bother him. As I’ve gotten older, I hate shots. My son was right.
