Five Below — Local services in Burleson

Horribly managed, never cleaned, store opens & runs with one single employee in the entire store making the shopping experience unsafe and difficult. Not having enough employees to assist customers and tend the store. Never EVER a store mgr avail to speak to regardless of the time of day you go in and ask, shift leaders only Mgt avail. Bathrooms always nasty, never swept or mopped, FIRE EXIT near bathrooms at store rear ALWAYS BLOCKED BY MERCHANDISE, truly hope there is never a fire, people will get hurt or trapped due to this. There's are a few staple employees that are always there and have been forever, always smiling, always greeting the door, always friendly and willing to help and never stops working to assist customers and stock the shelves but the other faces in this store are constantly new & changing & appear to lack the proper training to be effective employees. THIS STORE CONTINUES TO GO DOWNHILL, HAVE LESS & LESS EFFECTIVE EMPLOYEES AND TRULY NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT TO SAVE THIS LOCATION AS A POSITIVE...

The employee at the Burleson store was completely inappropriate. She was cleaning the glass door before the store opened. It was 10 o’clock and I was waiting to get in and she was acting as if they were still closed.. So I asked you do open at 10 AM, correct? she grumbled yes. Then, after others were entering the door, she was screaming welcome to five below in a voice that is not friendly. Then when checking out, all of the self check counters were closed and you were forced to go to her counter to check out. Then when she asked if I wanted to buy a bag and I said no, she said fine. It’ll just make it more difficult for you to carry out two bags , then she screamed, Is that cash or card while I’m standing there holding my credit card then she says have fun, have fun today as she’s screaming it at as I’m walking out. I will never come back...

We came in at 8:30 p.m. and they closed at 9:00 p.m. We were immediately "greeted" by an associate who got irritated because we walked through her mopping by the front entrance. We were checking out at 8:50 p.m. in the self check out and this same associate pointed to an open kiosk and when I didn't respond fast enough, she took what my children had in their hands and started scanning these items on the self check out she had pointed to. I had to tell her I was capable of doing the transaction for her to back off. It's amazing to me that any time I come in here I've had to use self check out without anybody offering their assistance but then they are rushing people out the door before the doors are even closed. She was extremely rude and seemed to have needed to be somewhere...
