Spring Creek Barbeque — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Today was Mother's Day, and since my elderly parents can no longer get out to go to Spring Creek, we brought Spring Creek to them. I cannot say enough good things about the Burleson Spring Creek take out staff. We called our order in, and the SC team had the order almost completed when I arrived - the timing was perfect! They were extremely busy with to-go orders, as well as a full house of patrons, but I was treated as if my order was the only one they had to make! The to-go staff made sure I received all 11 meals we ordered, and they reviewed each order with me to make sure it was correct before I left. One of the workers who had just arrived and was not even "on the clock" yet helped me carry all 7 bags to my truck. The food was delicious and a perfect treat for my parents and for my mom - but the Spring Creek staff were the real stars today! The service and attention to detail that I witnessed today was truly exceptional! My family has always loved the Spring Creek food and staff, and today I was reminded once again why: they care about their food, and they care about their customers! Thank you for making this Mother's Day so special for me and my family. We will remember this day for a long, long time! We ordered two dinners they were both baby back rib dinners we must have got the rib racks that had been sitting there all day but when i brought it back to the meat server/manager whom cut them he agreed how dry and dehydrated they were the manager was more than willing to break some fresh ones out and make one brand new plate I feel bad Whenever I send food back but at $20 a plate!!!!! My beautiful company was probably embarrassed which I can't blame her she did not take her plate back but she was in agreement which makes me feel even worse about the meal probably won't be coming back but the food is good if you get it served properly, the atmosphere is great and the facility is clean it just goes to show you can have the best on all three levels and drop the ball with just one overcooked expensive item, that is embarrassing to return back to the line you might note that this is another one of those great restaurants that wants a tip prior to you eating and you serve yourself basically except for there is a server that will come by and ask if you would like warm bread. being old school it's kind of like tips were because of service and product value I'm trying to get used to these days now just pray...

If you are looking for good rolls, This is your spot! However if you want anything else, like bbq find some place else. We eat bbq all around Texas and saw the reviews for spring creek so we decide to wait in the long line to check it out. Let me first say the set up isn't the smartest. If u want a soda refill you have to go back into the line to get it likely causing delays. On the food side, we had a variety of different samplings. Ham: edible and decent but dry Pork: low average at best, lacks seasoning Brisket: tough, no smoke ring or smoked flavor, rubbery and lacked seasoning Sausage: the biggest disappointment, they said it is black pepper sausage but there was no seasoning visible at all! Likely one of the worst things I have ever put in my mouth! Tasted like spam in a casing. Mac and cheese: all mac no cheese I think they must put yellow coloring in to make it look like it has cheese but it is really just noodles and no sauce it did have pepper though so that's good. Baked potato: probably the best thing outside of the rolls. Potato salad: taste like what you buy in the pre-made section of the grocery...
